“I was at a party recently, and it was difficult to hold my hors d’oeuvre plate,”.

This is tragic. How in the world can she go on through life if she can't hold her
hors d’oeuvre's?

Has no kids of her own. Sounds like she's better off not having any? Would probably sue her own kid for coloring on the wall.

It would have been nice if the jury could have fined her for the cost of the lawsuit and wasting everyone's time. The judge that allowed this case to go on should be repremanded for wasting tax payers money.

Heard about that too. Fuck that woman. Glad they threw out her suit. If I were the judge I would have berated her for wasting everybody's time and money.

On an episode of the TV show the title character, a best selling novelist, proposed "calling in the calvary." Calvary is the site of the crucifixion, not soldiers on horseback. That would be the cavalry.

The show's writers a paid professionals. You'd think that they'd get it right.

Reliance on a spellcheck program isn't enough. Proofreading and an understanding of definitions helps.

Was it Castle? Also, I wonder if the actor just flubbed the word and nobody knew any better.

I play rec volleyball in a middle school gym twice a week. There were several signs, created by the local education department, citing the physical education standards and how physical activity can positively effect your overall well-being.

Yes, it was Castle. It occurred to me that it was an error on the actor's part but I still think that it should have been caught by someone and corrected.

Maybe they should hire my picky ass as an observer/consultant ...

Ahh, Nathan Fillion. From what I've heard, he's recently been cast in the role of Steve Sarkisian for a USC piece and he's been practicing for the upcoming role.

It's a an "illiterati" conspiracy!
On an episode of a TV show a character mentioned "calling in the calvary." Calvary is the site of the crucifixion, not soldiers on horseback. That would be the cavalry.

The show's writers are paid professionals. You'd think that they, or someone in the line of command, would take note and correct.

I edited (for content and correctness) my previous post. Joe Montegna's character, David Rossi, made the same "slip" on The Job episode of Criminal Minds, aired 9/30/15.

IT'S A CONSPIRACY!!!

[Well, I'd think ... ]

Lamar Odom just died, and the scum sucking Kardashians are there with a camera crew to milk tragedy.

I was walking through an office parking lot on my way to work. A woman stops her car to ask directions to 2 employees standing on the sidewalk. It's a multi-building complex and she obviously didn't know where to go. So a couple of cars have stop behind her, for all of 5 seconds. The woman is leaning out of her window, obviously asking for directions. BTW, it's a place that does a lot of gov't contract work, so you don't want to just go wherever the hell. Anyway, one guy starts laying on his horn. So I yell "She's asking for directions, ya impatient prick!" His window was up, so he didn't hear me. But, man, clam down. It's not like the woman was holding up traffic so she could buy hot dogs from a street vendor. She was lost! People are such impatient jack-offs around here.

The offensive coordinator for the youth team I'm coaching. Here's why.

First he told me last Monday that he wouldn't be able to make the game that weekend. That being the case I spent the week leading up to the game drawing up, scripting and installing a single wing offense. I did this first and foremost because he didn't have any play sheets or formations drawn up for me so I could call the game using "his" offense. Up until the game last weekend "his" offense managed to score one TD in 5 games. It also had 3 turnovers that were direct scores for the other team and at least 4 more that lead to scores for the other team. In last weekends game running the single wing, to the right side only mind you because the two lineman on the left had never played or even practiced those positions we scored two TD's, had zero turnovers and lost by a point to the second best team in the league. When I told him we were scrapping his offense for the single wing he said "If we do that we're not doing the right thing for these kids" because the single wing was "too gimmicky" and "wouldn't get these kids ready for the next level"...welcome to the high stakes world of youth football people. Lol.

TMZ reported it about an hour ago.
Still not seeing a single thing there or anywhere else
I'm not seeing anything either on Odom, other than he's had at least one stroke and isn't doing so hot.
When I searched I did find a TMZ report that the Kardashians were around as 'rumors of his death swirled'. That's all I can find.

I hope he can survive this and finally get the help he needs. He has some deep rooted issues from his father.

It took five games and a coaches absence to make a change? I'd fire the HC for not changing things sooner! lol

Not getting all my food when going through the drive thru window.

Seems to be happening more and more lately.

Maybe we should pay those people more.

Trust me if I could fire myself I would...lol.

Fuck, if this is Pee-Wee or even middle school, I say who gives a shit what kind of offense the kids are running? Just run what works and win, dammit! I guarantee those kids and those parents won't care if the team is winning, or they're at least being competitive and having fun. Fuck that OC, if you're the HC tell him what's what! He had his shot and the offense failed.

Definitely seems to be happening more and more lately, imo. It used to be I could drive off and once in a blue moon something was wrong or missing. Now I'm forced to sit and wait at the window for 10 seconds to at least make sure everything is in the bag, while the guy behind me is getting impatient. I would say 1/3 or 1/2 the time something is screwed up.
