If the Raiders move down and that's it it'll be a huge hit... Especially with a new stadium... Any other situation and I'm not sure... Baseball and basketball (Lakers at least) just have a stronger, healthier hold here...

Also, they can live on 18,000 to 20,000 fans in the stands. Those are close up shop attendance numbers for NFL teams

number of games though... but yeah, football just doesn't drive people out here...

Raiders still have a large fan following in Los Angeles and its surrounding areas. However, the Raiders belong in Oakland.

Chargers stay in SD, Raiders stay wherever they are and the Rams come home to LA... everything would be swell

I was reading there is a billionaire from LA on the verge of completing a purchase of the Raiders. Which would likely put that team back in LA.

I've been hearing Rams and Chargers... yesterday it sounded like a forgone conclusion for both...

The city of St. Louis has the site, the drawing plans, they even have a 150+ million dollar stadium naming sponsorship for the future football field. Its going to be tough to get rid of football in STL. By NFL laws, they have done everything needed to keep their team in the Lou

I hate this idea. Having two teams making the same stadium home. Just screams of a situation where they both leave in a few years. The LA saga goes on and on...

Going to LA is bad idea period. Never understood the NFL's obsession with having a team in LA when they can never keep one. I get LA is the second largest market, but it doesn't matter when no one out there cares about pro football.

The bolded is what makes two teams so ridiculous. They haven't been able to get the community on board with following one team, nonetheless two teams. So they think that adding two teams with poor followings will somehow work? Nonsense.

They couldn't get their fans to follow the Raiders, why do they think having the Bolts and Rams will bring people in? Laughable.

Only thing I can think of is that they have twice the shot to get the revenue of one team. It would be in use every weekend of the season pretty much, right...since they would have to time it against each other. Also, is this where the Galaxy would play and/or is the new Los Angels football club that I just saw the Will Ferrel story on going to be American football (this) or is it another pro soccer team in LA (which could play there too)

What you're talking about here is stadium revenue for the owner. The NFL isn't going to profit from revenue generated by soccer. I would imagine Charger fans would tire of the drive after a while and ticket sales would drop.

Are they keeping the team names and everything? Thats super boring if it's just going to be the LA Rams and LA Chargers. I guess Rams works because of the history.

According to the Chargers' front office, the vast majority of Chargers merchandise sales and revenue comes from Orange and Riverside counties. So they look at it as moving closer to their fanbase. I have no idea if that is bs to justify the move, or if it is accurate. But that's what they are saying...

Can someone with more information please inform me where these teams relocating plan to play for the next few seasons. Obviously the new stadium wont be built in time for the 2016 regular season...I haven't heard anyone say where these possible relocating teams will play their home games in 2016. Thanks in advance to anyone that can answer

On local radio out here I heard that the Rams would be playing at the Rose Bowl, not sure about the other two. Probably the Coliseum I imagine.

Looking like Chargers and Raiders will be Carson bound. Truly no way in hell Rams move to LA also if Chargers/Raiders to Carson is finalized. Kroenke is left holding a bag of dicks and all is right in the world.

Rams to LA!

Such BS. St. Louis deserved better. They got the biggest shaft in this whole clusterfuck. Kroenke steam rolled that team into a laughing stock so he could move them to LA and fans refused to show up because of that Uncle Rico wannabe.

This will prove to be another failed NFL in LA attempt. I'm done with the NFL, Go Irish.
