Who got the gameball last week? In a sense, Prosise could have won it all three weeks, but was a victim of circumstance -- Zaire -- winning game ball in game 1, and Tranquill winning today.

edit: to answer my own question, I see it was Fuller vs Virginia. So, yeah, Prosise could have won it all three weeks, let alone any one of the weeks.

I would have given the game ball to Coach Elliot, but any number of guys on defense could have been deserving along with CJ on offense. The DTs certainly did a great job taking care of the dive it seemed.

*conceivably a dickhead post* - Tranquil was playing well but I thought Prosise more than earned it.

200 yards and 3 TDs, including a game sealer. He definitely earned it as an individual putting the offense on his back... but if there was a way to give it to a unit, it'd be the whole defense. So I guess giving it to Tranquil is kind of splitting the baby or whatever.

I hope Farley starts at FS next week against UMASS.

Due to are Redfields injury or poor performance to start the season?

To me it looked like it was when he was going up, and maybe it is an MCL. Would that be easier to overcome than an ACL?

MCL is typically easier to overcome that ACL, but depending on the damage and recovery time it could still be a lengthy time for return. Some players can come back in a few short weeks.

I feel terrible for the kid. He fought hard to come back from his last injury and deserved to celebrate on Saturday for his play and perseverance. Only for it to be met with tragedy. Get well soon Drue!

Like I said, Karma can suck a tailpipe. Injuries happen, but this is beyond excessive, especially for just week 3.

Maybe there is some correlation with the Under Armour shoes. That would be an interesting analysis, to see if there is a higher or lower probability of contact and non-contact knee injuries between wearers of Adidas, Under Armour, and Nike football cleats.

If healthy he should be the starting strong safety next to Resfield next year. This team and his family is cursed with injuries.

Still think Smith(if he somehow stays)-Morgan-Tranquill next year would be a bad ass LB core but we probably need him more at SS
