Really enjoyed the episode and I'm loving the team more and more as the season grows. Like most of you have said I really feel bad for MZ, one of my favorite players. Tough to see the vocal and emotional leader of a football team go down, I wonder who is going to fill the void? Liked that they had some air time on Folston, strong, smart and knowledgeable young football player, glad he is out there to help CJ and Josh Adams out despite the injury. Like the attitude and direction that BVG had during the episode just wish that we could see the reflection on the field.

Love that...burn the boat.

This one was hard to watch...already sad for MZ. You just want someone to say or do something to fix it for the kid...can't...sucks beyond comprehension.

Pitt already lost their best RB and has been average forever. Temple is Temple. Navy is Navy. UMASS is a cupcake. BC is a team of 3-stars. Wake is terrible. I know Pitt/Navy/BC have given us trouble before, but this is the best team we have had in forever and neither one of those three seem too formidable. If we can somehow get through this first week with Kizer, I think 11-1 and sneaking into the playoffs remains a small possibility.

FWIW according to FPI we are favored in every single game on our schedule.

I'm sad. I ordered showtime on my Ps4 like a dummy and watched the first episode live, thinking this weeks episode I could just watch after it aired, thinking it would just be available to watch. Apparently it's not available right away is it? :((((( I want to watch it so bad, RIGHT NOW! Can anyone help? haha.

the show is great but all too short, it really should be 1 hr long with a half hour of game week and the other half for the game itself and the aftermath. Always loved the sideline bits on ICON where the coaches are communicating with the players after big plays or trying to motivate them. You really see the team synergy in these moments and they are so far missing in this show.

Here's my take on the injuries; take it for what it is worth going on the rest of the year, of course, focused on GT right now.

I know game-playing time is crucial - don't get me wrong.

Zaire - Kizer
Bryant - Prosise
Smythe - Luatua/Alize

I would jump on a limb and say there are plenty of teams that would love to have these guy as starters much less, coming in for injuries on their team. Especially Kizer.

GT will be about the Irish defensive scheme and execution.

The show opened my eyes that there is a caveat that the Irish team holds and that is a love for each other as brothers. I believe the Irish will pull together and give GT a fight.

Gotta agree with you, he's really grown on me. Don't know if he'll be my favorite, but he's trending that way. Love his heart, kills me to see him sidelined for the year. I like the way Kelly said that this was Malik's team, and they would be caretakers until he gets healthy. You can tell how much he meant to this team this year. I feel good about Kizer stepping in, but I was really looking forward to Zaire under center all year. The end of that video was hard to watch.

Me too. I actually feel tremendously good about it because I really do not believe the Irish coaches would call the running plays they did involving Zaire - knowing the possibilities of injury - without being confident that Kizer could come in and take over.

Maybe not on the full-time basis that is happening now but, it had to have crossed BK's mind during the summer camps.
