I see it clear as if it already happened... Pujols mashes and dominates until the final round where he runs out of gas... then the season kicks back up and his swing is all jacked up and he hits ~five more dingers all season...

Frazier putting on a show.... A home town guy has never won it correct?

Pederson just put on a show, but Frazier hit 14 to win the first round... Don't know if he'll have enough in the tank to do it again though. Maybe the hometown crowd will help one more time.

Didn't know Ryno won it at home in 1990... This was still super cool though

As a Cincy fan, I was too jacked up to see Frazier win that. I can't imagine how I'll feel if I ever see an actual championship of any sort (haha).

Must be a young buck, I remember those Sabo lead Nasty Boys clearly... They had exactly zero chance to beat the As... None.

I was spoiled as a kid back in the days of the Big Red Machine. Going to Riverfront to see a game, followed by the annual trip to Kings Island was the highlight of my summers. I thought the Reds were going to win the WS every year. Little did I know they would only win one more in the next three decades thanks to Eric Davis, Sabo, and the Nasty Boys. Maybe I will live long enough to see them get another one. Cincy is a great baseball town.

Lived the new timing format, not sure about the first round bracket. I say first round should be top 4 overall then go bracket based on first round results. Keep the timing.

I was at the bars outside the stadium and eventually just part of the massive crowd watching on the big screen. It was electric. I'm officially a Reds fan now (after the Yankees of course).

And I agree that this format was so much better.

Yeah, I was born during their '90 run, so I guess technically I've seen a championship... I'd just like to see one I can appreciate and remember lol.

It is a great baseball town, and the fans are generally pretty patient and level-headed when it comes to their Reds. However, lately, people are beginning to grow restless with the terribly thin roster that the ownership has built. For a relatively small-market team, Castellini and Jocketty have spent their money on some questionable contracts, especially when the team's biggest issue has always been a lack of serviceable depth players.

Very cool, the Banks is a good area to hang out with a nice crowd and have some fun. It was already a cool, new area, but they've made some awesome upgrades due to the All Star game. Open-container laws finally being in effect helps too haha. I may be down there tonight during the All Star game if the weather holds off.

Great format. Really interesting competition.

As a Cubs fan, I felt bad for Rizzo. He was a bit too amped up and didn't quite know what to do with the format. Everyone else learned from his round. Would be interesting to see what he'd do if he had the first 90 seconds back.

Either way...very fun. Kudos to MLB for the change.
