Anything in Gettysburg that mentions the Confederacy offends me.

We must remove all of the things.

I completely agree with the removal of the flag from the statehouse but this is a little ridiculous.

I am only Ok with this if it means that MASH fills it's slot (I miss MASH). Otherwise this is bullshit.

Also was anyone actually calling for them to pull it? I haven't seen any articles demanding that it be taken off the air.

Whats the rub here? Isn't this exactly how business' are allowed, encouraged even, to act in a capitalist society?

This was a business decision I assume. I don't recall anyone picketing them or Amazon, Wal-Mart, etc to stop selling it, they chose to do it as a business decision based on what they perceive to be market pressure?

It might be knee jerk for sure..... but lets recap... no matter what your romantic notions of watching this show are, its still a show with an all-white cast driving a race car tatted with arguably the most recognizable sign of human oppresion in history regardless if their hijinks are cheeky. And its fresh in everyone's mind so when they see that car on TVLand they are not romanticizing it anymore I would bet.

Just playing devils advocate here.

Wasn't aware the General Lee had a Swastika on top.

So clearly the next step is to remove all of predominantly black shows that make jokes about white people and all of the women's shows that make fun of males. Right?

I feel so much better about the world now. The PC police have saved us and cured all the world's problems.

I think it's ridiculous but I'm not sure you can blame this on the PC police. I think it's reasonable for people to question flying the flag over a government building, yet I've not seen any outcry against shows like "the Dukes". This is more about a business decision and money. If anything, you can blame this on people placing money above all else, which is quite common.
