Pay closer attention next time. He's 20 on a board with only seniors. Eventually he'll get dropped for Juniors.
oh yaaaaaa

Go burn a F*$ken couch dude... The end result is TS being an "outstanding" bench warmer in the NFL....
Thoughts are sounds like you and a few others are haters.. If TS said he was is better then BQ then he gets crap, but he says BQ is better and still gets crap. Not sure anything can please you.. What would rather see a sweater vest or large sweatshirt hanging down to the knees???
Like how when ND beats up on Penn st, we get shit from tOSU fans for a week straight for running up the score, and yet when we back off Purdue and they get within two scores it's nothing but "YOU ONLY WON BY TWO SCORES... ND SUCKS... ND FANS ARE HOMERS"... every fanbase can be that way but seriously NO ONE should point that out and have a buckeye screen name, you guys are the worst with it...
Mel Kiper Jr. has Troy Smith at number 20 on his big board of who will go when....he wont be a 3rd stringer, he'll be on a good team as well going number 20...the Heisman, Maxwell, any other college award has nothing to do with draft status and Im unsure why this always comes up when comparing the two, its college now and when the bowl season comes and goes then speak of their nfl potential....and bucks4life when he was speaking about a sweatervest or a sweatshirt hanging down to his knees was i believe speaking of Tressel compared to Weis whoever made a comment about that....Look Im not getting defensive here, but you can't tell me that Troy Smith is not a good passer, he blew Michigan up BIG time, something Quinn was unable to do, and you'll turn around and speak of Penn State, but those were two different days, beautiful day in South Bend, Shitty rainy day in Columbus, look at both MSU games shitty day in East Lansing for the ND game and nice for the OSU game....but I do remember Troy Smith having a great day throwing in the Fiesta Bowl last year, hitting Holmes and Ginn IN stride on deep balls....you can't tell me he's not a good passer, unless of course you don't watch college football.
I would like to not be grouped into that category as "one of them"...just like I would hope that you wouldnt want to be grouped with the people that say "go burn a fucking couch dude"....
Troy Smith COULD be a fine pro... same for Brady... but in all honesty Brady has a good team, (espec. offensively) but not elite like Troy has... Troy has more weapons played AT BEST the same schedule but often ranked lower... and put up the same numbers... AND let's not forget if he played for a school with standards, say Oklahoma or Notre Dame, he wouldn't even have been on the field this year, and deservedly so, the fact that two years in a row the heisman winner will be a player who shouldn't even have been eligible is a slap in the face to all of college football... that's my thoughts...
When you speak of standards and eligibility I hope you are not referring to adedemics because if you are they you obviously don't know that Troy Smith has already graduated (in 4 years) so I really hope you arent referring to Troy Smith as a "dumbass" because most kids don't graduate it 4 years, football players or not
Look, Troy Smith gave a great compliment to Brady Quinn on the national airwaves, however, people on here have begun to thrash him because he does it, Troy Smith is a classy guy, and if you guys fail to see that then maybe your hatred for Ohio State runs too far, he has had his problems in the past, but you know what, he's rose up from that point and is now a better person for coming through that and perservering...He said it best in Columbus on the day of the Michigan game, "I came here a boy, and am leaving as a man"...but like I said if you people fail to see that he is a classy guy then forget it...its just sad to see someone make a nice gesture to a fellow competitor and then just get ripped for doing so...but I'm done with this thread, congrats to Brady Quinn for all he has done, hes a great competitor, and a great Quarterback...I hope I dont get ripped for speaking nicely about Brady Quinn

AC, i know OSU has it trolls probably more then most but all teams have them. Thats why i usually ignore them.. I may have opinions they may not agree with you but i will never be a hater or a troll about any player, coach or school.........................
I heard Paul Mcguire say that Smith will be a good receiver in the N.F.L. All that I can say is give the man a shot. This shyt is getting sickening, man wins the Heisman and can't get a shot to QB in the NFL. Damn.
Actually that's pretty common knowledge and has been discussed ad nauseum.
The make believe wall that Bucknuts have put up around Troy Smith will come crashing down soon enough. They are riding the wave of ESPN kissing Troy's ass and now believe the guy is a young superstar QB in the making along the lines of Vince Young, Matt Leinart and Brady Quinn. He's just not, whether they want to believe it or not. he is back-up qb at best and more than likely a 3rd stringer or NFL Europe player. He was fortunate to play for a team with vasty superior talent then their opponents. You can say the same for Leinart except Leinart had the size and proven ability to get the job done in close games at the end. "Troy is a big game player". So was Charlie Ward & Tommy Fraser. Big games in college can't be compared on any level to big games in the NFL. Troy Smith will be Jason White before you know it.
tell that to Eric Crouch... and numbers of others... it happens espec. for those smaller CFB QBs

Brady Quinn is a great Quarterback. Troy Smith is an outstanding Quarterback. Anyone who thinks differently dosent know whats up.
stupid bastards don't know how to spell one of, if not the greatest, linebackers to ever play the game. Butkus, not Butkiss. Would like Mr. Butkus have a talk with the idiot that did that caption.
By the way, to even suggest that Smith is that much better of a QB than Quinn is laughable. Stats speak for themselves. Give Quinn everything that Smith has had at shitbird university and Quinn's numbers would be even higher and he would have shattered the records he already broke. Smith was fortunate enough to have WR's that had great speed and were able to blow by their defenders and half the time they had to wait for the deep ball to reach them, meaning Smith wasn't able to hit them in stride, he also had WRs that were able to turn short passes into long yardage plays. Smith couldn't hold Quinn's jockstrap.
Sparty sticking up for a buckeye. Your hate for ND is really showing through. Still not over that loss from 2 months ago eh?
Who in the hell is Jason White???
Looking at that picture, Quinn is a monster. If he wasn't a quarterback, I swear he could play linebacker.
Your probably right. But Why many people dont think Troy Smith translates well to the NFL or why he isnt as good as an NFL prospect as Brady Quinn is beyond me.
Anyone who receives money from a booster, should automatically be dropped from consideration for any award during their college career. Period. Everyone knows you can't take an envelope containing money!
