Pete Sampson has a very positive update on both Hunter Johnson and Brock Wright. He believes ND will land both of them. Brock Wright's parents are with him on his visit this weekend; his dad is incredibly high on Notre Dame and has connected with several parts of the University's alumni network. I'll be a little surprised if Brock leaves South Bend this weekend without being a part of the 2017 class

The general consensus seems to be that the staff is pretty behind the 8-ball this year in recruiting, combined with a sort of underwhelming 2014 season and the "Frozen Five" not doing ND any favors when dealing with negative recruiting.

Hence the 3-Star recruits. Hopefully, the team wins on the field this season and catches the eye of some difference makers.

Loy is hearing that ND has passed up FSU and UGA for Beal on this trip. His visit has been incredible. However, no commitment will take place without mother.
