Anyone know if we have any chance here, or will he fall to the new juggernaut that is Dantonio's Spartans or Jim Hairdo at scUM as he has two seasons to prove himself to the kid?

Early indication is yes, we should be in play here. However, as you can see he's a national guy already and is discussing taking those trips.

for what its worth...Cass Tech coach said that they want to re-establish the great connection they had with Michigan coaches before Hoke f#cked it up...Harbaugh has been doing a great job in restoring their faith and relationship....for those that don't know the high school...they typically have 3+ Div 1 players /season

Let's see what an 11 - 12 win season does with everyone talking about the Irish from coast to coast. Kids want that spotlight and Michigan has lost the shine to Sparty in state.

ND will be sittting pretty this season, on the days of All Star game announcements and on NSD. Never been more confident in my life.

Michigan will be much improved with Jim, you might not see it in the wins category but he will vastly improve that team

Eventually he will and they will be back. That is my feeling too but I am surprised at how well Sparty is running the Midwest right now and those are players Mich can get in and use. the Wolverines are getting a lot of offers out here in Cali and AZ which surprises me instead of going head to head with Sparty and reclaiming their co-top spot with OSU.

I don't really care what Michigan does, ND doesn't play therefore they may as well be the Montana Grizzlies.

Has he seen Harbaw's naked chest?

Those pics are almost an MSNBC weekend special

Sometimes I think it's Charlie Sheen in the photos instead of Hairball. Jim's got some crazy tiger blood in his veins too. He hasn't been right upstairs since Ditka scrambled his melon.

And Cass Tech has been pretty good to UM in the past.

He's been to Michigan a whole bunch and OSU. Visited USC and is setting up a visit to Florida. Yet to step foot on ND campus so probably shows his interest. Seems like we have a major up hill climb for this freak

Correct. Cass Tech has at least that many every year, some years they've had as much as 8-9. The head coach at Cass Tech, Thomas Wilcher played with Harbaugh at Michigan.

Michigan used to have a near mortal grip on the Cass Tech pipeline, Ohio State and Michigan State have cracked it wide open.

Donovan Peoples-Jones' father went to Michigan and he's an in-state kid, but he's far from a Michigan lean. I've heard he is pretty open to every school. He might wind up being the most highly recruited kid to come out of Cass Tech in a very long time. He's 5*, top 10 player in the country material. He's an athletic freak.

Are you a Michigan mod for ESPN?

With a rating like that, sounds like he belongs at ND.

Is he still an essential Michigan lock?

his father went to Michigan, he goes to Cass Tech and knows a bunch of guys from Cass Tech that are on the Michigan team, and his HS coach played with Harbaugh in college, but he's not a lock by any means.

He's wide open, will take his time and visits. If he was a Michigan lock he'd have committed by now IMO. Could very easily wind up at another school, and his favorite team growing up was Florida.
