Now we will have a chance to see. The past two years the picks for captain have left a little to be desired. (In terms of harnessing the leadership of the team [with the full benefit of hindsight].) Will Kelly not micromanage this year and trust the players to pick correctly? Will Kelly still pick, and hit it or miss?

Chipper woke me up so I turned on the TV and Stanley is playing at some NFL PA practice on espnu right now. Obviously he's coming back but I assume this is prep for the senior bowl... very sureprised he's there.

This might be a stupid statement, but he's only a junior, no? Why would he be practicing for the Senior Bowl?

I didn't see a name or anything, but it was a big, black, #78 on offense with a golden helmet shinier than all in the land. I only saw one shot of him, but it was identical.

Brent Hundley was in the huddle and 78s helmet was twice as gold.

It might not have been the senior bowl. It was something though. Snoop dog was there.

There was this one guy, I don't remember his name, that hated when players threads were bumped for no reason.....

Lol, touche. But when I saw that OL, I would have bet my existence on IE that it was stanley. I literally had no doubt in my mind. I didn't have my coffee yet so must still be a little off this morning.

Really cool article. Thanks for posting. What a job BK and ND did. Win - win for the player and ND in both cases IMO.

Thought this quote was interesting:

Any time an SEC school sees another SEC school win a national championship, it inspires them just as it does when a Midwestern team wins one. I do think it inspires those team that are geographically in the area.

Not a good day for this bump, but good to see Stanley continuing to get love from scouts.
