Sorry folks, but nothing you have said has changed my mind. I'm not blind to the differences but you are basing this on what Cravens has done at the next level already, and his star rankings which have proven to be flawed. I'm only basing this on their films, which in that regard, yes, Morgan showed similar ability to Cravens. Sorry if I see comparisons that seem blasphemous to you people. I'm only stating what I see, which if you actually took time to look at their films, it's not so far-fetched. I'm not in any way, shape or form saying Morgan is as good as Cravens, just that he has the potential to be as good. Both are similar athletes with good instincts and flow to the ball extremely well. Morgan needs to get more physical (the main difference as Cravens just blew people up) and could stand to improve his speed a tad. I just like that everything I say is considered a blasphemous statement. Hell, I don't even know if we'll land this kid, but someone will and they will be VERY thankful they did.

You threw away the fact that those two now professional players (one of whom was considered perhaps the greatest OL in ND history and was later a friggin' All-Pro as a rookie; the other a 3rd rd draft pick and already a starter) had played together for over 3 years and not only were wildly talented but incredibly cohesive. All bc your ND glasses were rolling hard that day. Yeah, you argued that point over and over as well. And you do this all the time.

So forgive me if I believe Saban, Meyer, Kelly et al over your biased film review.

And btw, I hope we get this kid. Definitely a player. But comparing a kid with his minimal offers to Su'a Cravens at the same age is ridiculous, and to be honest, unfair to the kid.

I always laugh when people say this. How am I antagonizing you? You posted, I responded. I didn't respond several times before you responded. You could have left this alone awhile ago, but you keep responding to my posts and, dare I say, antagonizing me (lol). I mean, yes, you said "agree to disagree", but then you stated your case again. And I did in return. What's the big deal? If you didn't want a discussion, why'd you argue your point again?

I disagree with your analysis skills. Your resume speaks for itself. Oh, and Elmer was subpar to average a lot of the year, so you're not really bolstering your argument there. It was a terrible argument then and it's even worse now.

And Cravens > Morgan after their junior years and no, it's not even close. Just ask Nick Saban. He kinda knows these things...

So no college coaches so far think Cravens and Morgan are comparable based on offers. So far no recruiting service has seen them considerably similar in terms of rankings on any site. So far no recruiting analysts have called Morgan "Best Safety in the nation" and so far no recruiting services have even agreed on their star rankings. But you do, hopefully for our sake if we land Morgan he turns out to be half the player Cravens is.

I think you are actually being disrespectful to Sua, IMO if he was on ND's defense he might be our overall best player. For sure a top 5 player on the team ,he's really that good and was coming out of high school.

I have seen both live. No way is he comparable. Cravens instincts and lateral quickness were elite and he dominated offense and defense. Teams game planned away from Cravens and he was around the ball in damn near every play. Cravens showed up on every play. He lined up everywhere on the field.

It is not even a comparison.

He picked up a Nebraska offer. What needs to be updated is his free fall in the ratings and his 40 time. 247 has him at a 4.8 vs his early 4.6 he reported. He dropped from a top 5 S safety... Top 100 overall to a top 30 safety... Top 500 overall.

Similar to other guys we're recruiting at S, we've expressed that we'd like to see how he does in man to man coverage before offering. We'll be out to do that on May 14th when they hold a workout for their players. He says that if we we're to offer before his decision it would shakes things up.
