Oh my.

The brothers on the street are questioning Chip Kelly's roster moves?

And the new running back for the Eagles will be? Frank Gore.

Thanks for the reminder on why I don't watch ESPN.

Racism is a very serious issue and to throw it out like that is Fing ridiculous. I cannot stand Stephen A. Smith.

Would be great if someone like Chip Kelly or the Eagles actually took this head-on and refused to do anything with ESPN until Stephen A. Smith was fired.

One can dream...

Richard Deitsch goes back and forth on Twitter about Stephen A. Smith and Skip Bayless. He kindly reminds people how these two pull in millions from ESPN. Simply because #EmbracetheDebate. I've stopped watching ESPN altogether aside from an actual sports game.

I'm not agreeing with Stephen A. Smith about racism motivating some of the moves the Eagles are making ... but, WTF is going on with some of the moves the Eagles are making? I think Chip has lost his mind.

Chip has quite the ego and firmly believes in his system. Not saying that these are the right moves just that is just my take on whats going on. He believes in the system making the players rather than the other way around.

Yep. If I remember correctly he feels that O-line and QB are most important to his offense and that his offense can make any skill position player look good.

Agree...these moves are crazy. I understand dumping payroll but what the fvck. I also believe Stephan A is douchy and needs a slap in the chops. There isn't an instrument could measure how fast I switch the channel when I see his grill. Go Irish!

As an Eagles fan, my son is devestated. He has four jerseys -- McCoy, Macklin, Cole, (all gone this year) and a vintage Reggie White. When his three favorite players left he was every bit as crushed as I was when the Minister of Defense went to Green Bay back in the day. I hope Chip knows what he's doing, but from the outside looking in, he looks like a Cowboys fan. :)

When he was still at Oregon, Thomas Tyner wanted to take OV's to other schools for fun. Chip basically told him if you do we will drop you and get somebody else. Obviously being a local stud RB to the Portland area people thought it was crazy that he was willing to drop Tyner if he took those visits. Chip has that mad scientist thing about him but he has a pretty good track record of winning so I tend to think it'll end up working out.

As a Cowboys fan, I'm sure hoping that last part is true and he's putting together a collapse of epic proportion ;)

For awhile you could plug any RB into Mike Shanahan's zone running attack in Denver and they were all but guaranteed 1000 yards.

EDIT: As a Giants fan, it was never the players that scared me as it was the system he uses. Although, I'm not sad to see Maclin or McCoy leave.

This "person" is the lowest ass on ESPN, and they have a few. I should have outgrown this by now, but I curse if I can't switch channels before he appears. What an inflated jerk.

Stephen A is an idiot.

I figured getting rid of Shady was to open up the space for Maclin, McCourty, but apparently not. Chip has had a weird off-season. Doesn't want to spare the extra $2 million per year for Maclin, but overpays for Maxwell....I know the CBs were trash last year, but that't a lot of cash they gave out to a CB who is honestly just pretty good.

I also keep seeing rumors about Mariota, but I don't know what they have to trade up with. I don't know if Foles plus 2015/2016 1st and 2nd rounder would be good enough just to get to #6 in the draft. Chip would essentially be putting his NFL career on the line if he makes any sort of trade for Mariota. As of today, they're a worse team than the one that missed the playoffs this past year IMO.

Yea, thats what was so weird about the McCoy trade. He seemed like the one piece that would've facilitated a trade up for Mariota

Supposedly it was done to dump money so that they are set for next year's free agency...all of these moves are about year 2 with mariota...this was on the dari and Mel show on Saturday

NFL insiders on Twitter are adamant that Chip isn't going to trade up for Mariota.

Interesting, did they say what they thought Philly was going to have to give up to get Mariota?

Nick Foles is a good enough QB that he doesn't need to trade for an unknown in Mariota. Not with what it would cost. The best he could hope for is a Brady Quinn like fall.

What happened in OU is gross.....what this jackwad is trying to stir up is a distraction that makes people second guess claims not backed by video taped evidence. He is doing a disservice to all. Fuck him.
