What difference does it make? He isn't the selection committee! I would love to see his final mock bracket versus actual over time and see how close he ever gets. It would be damn near impossible to get more than a handful of the actual seeds and regions correct, let alone the match ups.

Seeds are a discussion worth having, regions and matchups are a complete waste of time.

I bet he's decently accurate when it comes to predicting what regions the Top-4 seeds make it into. I doubt the 6/11 seeds he has us playing are correct, or that will be in both Kentucky and Gonzaga's region, but I don't think us playing in Columbus as a 3-seed is innacurate right now.

If we beat LVille, Clemson, Pitt? in first round of tourney, then lose to Duke, we should be sitting very pretty for a 3 seed. Lose one of those, then we could definitely fall.

Good night for our push for the #3 seed as a bunch of ppl mentioned. Texas beating Baylor was a gift, and Iowa State knocking off Oklahoma was nice. Oklahoma hosts Kansas on Saturday, and a loss there should keep them comfortably behind us (assuming we go 2-0 this week). The Big 12 is an absolute mess and it's tough to know what to root for the rest of the year and in their conference tournament. At the end of the day, we really just need only two Big 12 teams (KU is just about a lock) to finish ahead of us on the S-curve.

Really thinking 2-0 this week and 1-1 (loss to Duke) in ACC Tourney will get us #3 seed. That should boost our RPI to ~20 and get our SOS into Top 100 finally. Our SOS is 129 right now, and really hoping games against Louisville, Duke, and a couple of middle-of-the-road ACC teams will boost it big time.

I have no clue what to make of the Big 12. Obviously they look pretty competitive, but how good is each team? I have no idea.

Ya seriously. I could see pretty much any of their top-7 teams making a run to the Elite 8 or losing early. Very entertaining, but weird conference this year.

We're 4.5 point underdogs tomorrow night at Louisville.

I'm just assuming we'll go to overtime like always...

All basketball fans should make sure to set their DVR a few hours after the game is supposed to end to get all of the overtimes!

Part of me was rooting for the upset, but it's probably a good thing that #9 Kansas knocked off #20 WVU in overtime. I don't think we can catch KU barring anything crazy happening, so might as well knock WVU a bit further behind us.

Im supposed to be going to the game tonight, but the forecast is for up to a foot of snow and an inch or more of ice so kind of depends on the weather. I don't really want to drive an hour and a half in those conditions.

Use good judgement. Your life and peace of mind ain't worth watching a three pointer from the stands rather than a La-Z-Boy.

I've driven many times in similar conditions when "forced" to by work considerations.

I clearly survived, but it had much to do with precaution, caution, patience and resultant BO.

Up 42-31 at the half. Think the first 4 minutes will be huge. I'd hate to see Louisville come out hot and instantly trim our lead to 5 points.

Or tie the game. This is a good ND team but when they need a win they rarely get it. Let's hope that trend is broken when the NCAA tourney begins.
