6-2 on the road in the ACC. Not too shabby.

I know Wake and BC aren't great, but that's 88 and 87 points the last two games. I hope the confidence is flying high for Tuesday against Cuse.

Easily the most athletic, pound for pound, player brey has ever had.

And that makes me very, very happy :)

Really happy with that win. Went on the road in the ACC* and just dominated in every facet of the game. Shot the lights out, played good defense, outrebounded them, and everyone on the team played well. So happy, we're getting hot at the right time.

*Only downside is that BC really sucks. Still, never mad about a road conference win.

Great to see how balanced this team is. I think that Jerian Grant has really down a great job of helping our younger guys develop and become confident just by how easy he makes it for them. When you are getting the ball within rhythm for open threes and easy layups it's hard to struggle with confidence. Saw lots of good things from VJ and Bonzie. VJ continues to open up his game more often and has such a nice touch on that finger roll. This has to frustrate future opponents who now have to choose whether they want Grant to beat us scoring or beat us setting up our other excellent scorers.

Gonzaga getting hammered by St Mary's (down 15 in the first half) and UCLA hanging tough vs Arizona. Would love to see the Zags and Cats go down today. Add those to a Kansas loss earlier this week and the Irish could make it to #7 after this weekend!

So much for that. Arizona and Gonzaga with monster second halfs to avoid the upsets. Oh well. Glad to see the Irish in complete control today and getting 30 pts and 13 boards combined from Auguste and Colson took a lot of the pressure off the guards.

Cuse should be another win but I feel like the tournament ban (oh no self-banning from a tourney you're not going to make!) has energized them. Christmas is playing like every game is his last and the D needs to be ready for it.

Their not that good to be honest. They just lost to Pitt at home. We shot rly well at home. We should be able to shoot through the 2-3 zone.

I don't think Cuse or Louisville are that great honestly. They have more talent than us, but neither one has looked good this year really. I'd take 1-1 against them, but I think 2-0 is a very real possibility now after seeing how they've been playing the last couple weeks.

I still am nervous about the match ups. Nd is a good shooting team, but they get those looks off dribble penetration. Can they drive effectively enough against the zone? We will see. But on d, Christmas is a beast that will cause problems all game. For ul, its about being able to beat their suffocating man defense. We had problems at duke with it, but ul will not score the same way duke did. Harrell will be tough to stop. If we can limit him to 20 or below I will feel good.

With Chris Jones gone that Louisville offense that struggles already is going to have more difficulties scoring the basketball. As long as ND can avoid the defensive pressure of Louisville (and Cuse for that matter) I feel they could win these last 3.

I agree. Thier pressure will definatly not be as good with him out. We are in good position to win the last 3 games now. We are shooting so hot

Down goes #9 Utah. They just lost at Oregon.

We should be #9 tomorrow. I don't think Kansas drops from #8.

Also, what the hell happened with Chris Jones? He played the whole game yesterday....I assumed he was back. Sucks for him he got booted off the team, but pretty sweet for ND. I'm actually feeling 3-0 to end the season now.

On a different note, does this seem like a really strong bubble this season? We haven'y been on the bubble in forever, but I'm happy we're not this season in particular.

Ya i agree there does seem to be a lot of strong bubble teams. Im feeling a 3-0 finish too if we can keep our hot shooting going. Should still be good games the next 2.

A strong bubble makes it all that much more important to get a top 3 seed in the tournament. Means you get the best of the Automatic Qualifiers as opposed to a scrappy bubble team. That can be a huge dropoff sometimes

I guess it depends a bit on what teams win their conference tournament, but the way Lunardi has it projected right now, all of the top 4 seeds and 3 of the 4 five seeds play an AQ, not a bubble team. Hopefully we're clear of the 5/6 seed range regardless

Tournament...Tournament......we're talking about the Tournament? Hopefully this year's squad can do better than in years past. I feel with the guard position we have this year, they should go further than in past. August has to be a beast though.

I know this means nothing really but Seth Davis who does do the AP Ballot has us at the 8th best team. Put us in front of Arizona

Whoever is in charge of the Men's social media account really does a good job.
