... tell us about the experience?

I attended an ND game there, in 2006 I think it was. It was a great experience. Beautiful day, beautiful scenery, and an ND win. How was your game day experience there?

Had a great time. ND was very heavily represented---LOADS of ND fans. Tailgated very close to Falcon Stadium. Glad I went.

I was there with a group of friends. We had seats on the first row of the second level behind the Air Force bench. The entire trip was great, up until the time we left.

The area is awesome. The venue is intimate and great for fans. ND fans came out and represented very well. If you took the cadets out of it, the place could have been 50/50 in not a little more pro-ND. Tailgating was right by the stadium, and was also pretty cool.

Leaving the Academy after the game was a nightmare. One of the drawbacks of their stadium is that you have two ways in and two ways out. Took us almost two hours to get back to the interstate and then another 2 hours or so to get back to Denver.

Still, it was a great experience. Glad I went, and certainly have a great respect of the AFA.

I'm former Air Force and would LOVE to make it to the Academy for an Irish game in the next couple years. I gotta check the schedules and see if its possible
