This whole thing was a witch hunt from the beginning. Where are all the haters at now? Official steals game ball to profit off of, but nobody seems to care. Just ridiculous. BB and TB12 = G.O.A.T.
No matter what the outcome and reports are that come from the unethical media, we are quick to find guilty without the facts. What a shame. NFL official tampering with evidence completely exonerates the Pats here and will just allow the haters to continue to be well, haters.

Kravitz is a total homer, but everyone in Indy seems to love him. Robert Mathis Picks A PED Fight With The NFL He's Not Going To Win

I remember him going on an Indy sports radio program defending Robert about his suspension. I never put too much stock in his opinion/accusations. Maybe it's because I'm used to Chicago sports media, but the Indy media seemed to be total pushover Homers when I was there.

Most people I know don't like Kravitz. I know I don't care for him. He used to be in Denver. I wonder how folks there liked him?

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en data-scribe-reduced-action-queue="><p>Schefter on <a href="https://twitter.com/WEEI">@WEEI</a> today said there are people around the league who sincerely believe the Colts tampered with the intercepted football.</p>— PatriotsSB50 (@PatriotsSB49) <a href="https://twitter.com/PatriotsSB49/status/563784852072583169">February 6, 2015</a></blockquote>

I actually like the Colts and root for them every non-Pats game, but I would LOVE for this to be true...but I assume it is BS

I don't know how I missed this, but with all the plots this story has had, this doesn't surprise me, even though I doubt it's true.

I'm just waiting for the NFL to issue their ruling.

Fire an official willing to take a major pension and stay quiet, protect the shield and hide the fact the team from Boston got away with cheating....

Schefter said they have video of the refs doing this, and I really hope they do haha otherwise my Jets/Eagles friends will repeat the above 24/7 except they'll be serious.

Exactly his point with Boston sports fans. Way to sensitive with no sense of humor. lol

Why should Pat's fans have a sense of humor here? The team has been drug through the mud on this ridiculous story. Haters hated so hard that it outed Jerry Rice's career as a fraud for using stickum. Mark Brunell about cried over the integrity of the game for pete's sake. And in all honesty, it is not the story here that is upsetting, it's the horrid display of what is being called journalism that is disappointing to me. Just crazy.

Also today, the Colts GM said they informed the league before the game that the Pats may be deflating footballs. Dean Blandino who is Head of Officiating said that wasn't true weeks ago. This story keeps getting more entertaining and dumber by the day.

They've been lucky their fair share of times.

See the Tuck Rule game.

Every team that has ever won has gotten some bounces to go their way. The Patriots have had bad luck go against them, too. The success of the Patriots is about the fact that they are in a position to have things break for or against them every year, which no other team has been able to do for this long.

Any Colts fans out there heard rumblings that Indy might be in some hot water when the Deflategate report comes out? The investigation is through and Wells is just writing his findings and there's been some chatter on social media that the report will be released tomorrow with the Colts being found guilty in some fashion.

Been mainly getting my info from @SharksOfVegas on Twitter regarding the Colts involvement and the report being released, but it was also mentioned on WEEI in Boston this morning that the report would be out tomorrow. All of the news/info I read has a Boston-spin to it, so just wondering if people elsewhere have heard anything.

Edit: Also seeing guys from 98.5 in Boston saying that same thing.

Boston sports talking heads talking about the Colts getting in trouble for accusing the Pats? That sounds plausible.

I don't see how the Colts would get in trouble. The balls were deflated. That's not even an argument. It's fact. Didn't the Patriots also assign a scapegoat?

Outside The Lines assigned a scapegoat and stalked the guy outside his house for an interview. The whole episode was a bit of a reach and very witch-hunty and then, at the end, Schefter came on ESPN and pretty much killed their whole story (the Schefter part is near the top of this page).

Yes, according to Chris Mortensen....who then had his whole report get countered days later by Rappaport at NFL Network who said the balls were all either at or barely below the PSI limit with the exception of one football which was way below. That football supposedly might have been the one that the Colts were in possession of following the Brady interception.

I usually listen to sports talk at lunch and on the way home. I didn't pick up anything being discussed and there isn't anything on indystar.com.

Thanks. I'm guessing neither team will be found guilty of anything, but just wanted to see if there were any rumblings in Indy as they seemed to pick up pretty big time in Boston today (although I'm guessing this is a bigger story in Boston than in Indy). Schefter has already said this report will make the NFL look bad in regards to the officials, so I'm guessing the report will just focus on that and not impact either team. Neither team would be dumb enough to deflate a football with 1,000 cameras around.

For the reasons described in this Report, and after a comprehensive investigation, we have concluded that, in connection with the AFC Championship Game, it is more probable than not that New England Patriots personnel participated in violations of the Playing Rules and were involved in a deliberate effort to circumvent the rules. In particular, we have concluded that it is more probable than not that Jim McNally (the Officials Locker Room attendant for the Patriots) and John Jastremski (an equipment assistant for the Patriots) participated in a deliberate effort to release air from Patriots game balls after the balls were examined by the referee. Based on the evidence, it also is our view that it is more probable than not that Tom Brady (the quarterback for the Patriots) was at least generally aware of the inappropriate activities of McNally and Jastremski involving the release of air from Patriots game balls.

"More probably than not." So they're 51% sure that they did something wrong and, assuming they did, they're 51% sure that Tom Brady was "at least generally aware" of it, whatever that means. I'll sleep fine tonight.

Ha they got caught, and the report doesn't just reference a single ball, rather "game balls."

Eh. I mean this report pretty much says what people thought from day one. They might have done something, and there is no proof. And the balls were never properly checked before the game. There won't be any penalties, Kraft is pissed and the NFL can't risk that.
