Time to clear the ridiculous logjam at wide receiver. Put Tim Brown and Marvin Harrison in. I also think Terrell Davis, Kurt Warner, Jerome Bettis, Junior Seau, Will Shields, and Orlando Pace should be in. I only think 5 get in though. A lot of good candidates out there.

Sounds like Brown once again isn't getting in. Absurd considering he was #2 receiver at time of retirement and played with horrendous QBs.

That's GREAT! Congrats Tim and Jerome!!

Notre Dame had a great day!

Looks like the election committee took care of a lot of overdue players. Good for them.

Happy for Brown and Bettis, but disappointed that Coryell did not make it. That guy completely revolutionized offense with "Air Coryell".

Since so many (not here mind you & mostly Broncos fans mad b/c Davis didn't get in) are bashing Bettis's career, I'll take a shot a Terrell Davis. Great guy & great talent but he only had four great years. Yes the career of a RB is extremely short but we are comparing him to the greatest, he needs more than four years of impressive stats IMO. Injuries derailed what could've been a HoF career much like Don Mattingly in baseball.

Bettis gets slammed for his low ypc but fans can't just compare RBs in the same manner. Jerome Bettis is a totally different runner than say Barry Sanders. He's basically a FB playing TB ala John Riggins, Larry Csonka, etc. Fans forget his ypc were diminished by his last few years when he only went in on short yardage/goal line situations when the whole stadium knew he was getting the ball & the defense had 9 in the box. The guy is a HoFer

I think Ken Anderson deserves induction from the Vet committee sometime soon.

Harrison & Warner should get in soon. It'll be interesting to see if Moss &/or Terrell Owens go in first ballot.

Orlando Pace will definitely get in next time around. I understand the fans upset he wasn't in this class, but there's a limit and queue so he fell victim to the logjam at WR that is finally loosening up.

Totally agree. Quite honestly, i thought he was already in. This was the football I loved to watch when I was very young. Thrilled for the Bus and Brown...can't wait to see their induction.

Warner, Harrison and Pace will get in eventually. Favre is the only lock for 2016. I believe Jerry Kramer, L.C. Greenwood, Ken Anderson and Chuck Howley should already be in the Hall of Fame.

Seau was a shoe in this year. Voters told the Indy Star Harrison is a lock next year.

Has anyone here been to the induction ceremony? I would like to know about your experience
I am not far from Canton and with 2 ND players and a Pack GM it sounds enticing. Is it hard to get tickets?

I was born and raised in North Canton, and my dad used to work on the HOF Transportation Committee most years. I haven't lived there in quite some time (25 years), but it is a great experience, as long as it isn't too hot. There are events the whole week before the Induction Ceremony/Game. A ribs burnoff, a hot air balloon festival, various concerts, etc. I never had an issue with getting tickets to anything, but things have become much more commercialized now, so I don't know about the current state of ticket availability. But the week/weekend is fantastic!
