I'm just here so I don't get fined.

He signed a contract to play in the NFL and that contract has certain stipulations that he is not above following. Every other player in the league has to follow those rules, so why is Marshawn Lynch better than anyone else? And there *are* questions that, if Marshawn wasn't determined to act like a five year-old, I would like to ask the starting RB on a Super Bowl team.

Look -- there's no gun being held to his head that is making him play football. He can go do something else with his life if he wants. *Or* he can follow the rules, answer some questions and make millions of dollars. In the grand scheme of life, being forced to answer some questions in a press conference is a *pretty darn good trade-off* for being able to make millions and provide for your family. I'd sure be happy to do it.

Or he can pay $50,000 fines like an idiot just to prove some stupid point like a petulant child. His choice.

To his credit he did show up and answer every single question. It may not be the answer that reporters are looking for but screw them. So now you are expecting him to go above and beyond his contract and give thoughtful answers, which mostly likely is not in the contract? What exactly then constitutes a "thoughtful" answer? If the league is being so black and white with the players, why can't the players do the same? There is a double standard being applied.

I like what Richard Sherman said, if they all have to answer questions every week, then so should Goodell. Too bad the press wouldn't push him on being a horrible comish.

Marshawn gets more clicks per interview than anyone. He should get a pay raise for all of the attention he draws to the NFL.

Still wondering what these questions are, I'm sure some of us could give you the cliché answers you are looking for to sell newspapers and magazines! That's all the coaches and players give you anyways.

How will he get fined? He showed up to answer questions, just because they aren't the answers that you the media want you get upset.

How did he break any of the NFL media policies?

Regardless of what is contractually required by the NFL or the NFLPA, I think what Lynch is doing is just plain childish and completely unprofessional.

He is being paid millions of dollars to play a game and can't find it in his Skittle-filled head to sit down for and hour or so and give thoughtful answers to questions prior to the biggest NFL game of the year.

Grow up and stop acting stupid. I don't find what he is doing funny at all, and to be frank, am tired of his act.

If it bugs you so much then don't watch.

For example, I don't like watching Dr Oz so I change the channel. It really is that easy. Stop complaining just to complain. If you were that tired of his act, you would simply ignore it. You are reinforcing his childish behaviors you are sooooo tired of.

Watch him become a commentator for ESPN when his NFL career is over.

Larry Foote on Marshawn Lynch:

"He always mentions his foundation and what he likes to do for the city of Oakland," Foote said in an interview with 93.7 The Fan in Pittsburgh. "I'm from the same type of urban environment that he's from."

"The biggest message he's giving these kids, he might not want to admit it, is 'The hell with authority. I don't care, fine me. I'm gonna grab my crotch. I'm gonna do it my way.'"

Foote's point is kids will believe they can act the same as Lynch does.

"In the real world, it doesn't work that way," Foote said. "It just doesn't. How can you keep a job? I mean, you got these inner-city kids. They don't listen to teachers. They don't listen to police officers, principals. And these guys can't even keep a job because they say 'F' authority."
