Nice dude! Im on PS4. I just started a Warlock characted last week, but my hunter is level 28. I still havent run a raid yet tho. I'm trying to get a squad together with my buddies, but everyones schedules are all over the place. I really want to run VOG, ive heard its the most fun aspect of the game. I personally love running the strikes playlists and playing the crucible. Ill sit in a control room all night.

My personal favorite is when I take the sampledorf up to the capulary and do a red robin.

I've been playing the last of us like crazy for about 2 weeks now.

I got that for free with my PS4 and I'm having so much trouble getting into it.

I'm not getting a ps4 until May but this is one game I'm looking to buy.

Does the multiplayer have a co-op mode? Or is it more like battlefield where you match up with anyone... Not so much a coop role player mode? (I realize battlefield is nothing like last of us, just trying to explain what I'm looking for).

It does start slow as hell. The game really picks up once you get past the Boston part.

I haven't played multi player yet, so I can't really say.

I'm completely hooked on Dragon Age Inquisition (XB One). I'm a Bioware fan and they really fixed the issues from the second DA game.

I have Destiny too but haven't played in a bit-I would brush it off to raid.

You shouldnt play the last of us if you want a multiplayer experience. The last of us is the single greatest game ever created for a single player story based game

I'm looking forward to Dragon Age Inquisition to carry me until the new Elder Scrolls game drops. I just ordered a new windows laptop that I think will be capable of playing that game at a decent framerate. It looks like an elder scrolls derivative.

I haven't played a video game in a long time, I'm very excited to waste hours of my life on virtual quests :)

If you are like me and get sidetracked from the main plot easily, you will indeed waste hours. They added some Assassin's Creed-like features where you can set up camps, claim landmarks in each map area.

Been playing Wasteland 2 for PC and Far Cry 3. Wasteland 2 is excellent, especially if you enjoyed the old Fallout games at all. It's a top down, squad based post-apocalyptic RPG. It has some great humor and easter eggs within.

Far Cry 3 is something I've been meaning to try for awhile, but I had to try out Far Cry 4 on my father-in-law's PS4 first before I pulled the trigger. I checked Steam and they had a deal on the first 3 games for $40 I think, so that seemed like a good deal. Great game, although I find that I spend a lot of extra time trying to stealth everything as oppose to running in, guns blazing, and clearing outposts quickly. I guess I like the challenge of being sneaky. On the plus side I save a ton of money by almost only using arrows and melee for kills.

Before getting into GTAV, my little brother hooked me up with his download code for Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag. He said he didn't like it when he had it for PS3, and he got the AC XBoxOne bundle, so I got his download fo' free.

I didn't have high expectations; he said he didn't like it and was willing to part with his download code, and several other friends said they thought it was bad.

Welp, I think they're all crazy. I'm blown away so far. It's got the usual tedious "climb this, collect that" stuff, but I was prepared for that. I was NOT prepared for how badass life on the open sea would be. Between avoiding typhoons, dropping barrel charges, and otherwise acting a fool while island hopping, the sailing mechanics are super nice.

I'm thinking part of my enjoyment is due to the fact that the last AC game I played was Brotherhood. I didn't go through Revelations or ACIII like most other people, so maybe it's just that the shiny new toy feeling is a bit more of an extreme for me.

Yeah, I played the first Assassin's Creed and quickly got bored with the constant climbing BS. It was fun at first, but it got very repetitive after awhile and felt tedious. I never played any of the subsequent games as a result, however I watched my buddy play IV and I'm thinking about giving the franchise another try. Just not sure if I want to go back and play the older games.

You should at the very least give ACII a try. Rennaisance Italy was just an unreal world to run around in, and some of the "secret" climbing challenges make the repetitive stuff fun. Climbing the Duomo is still my favorite AC thing overall. That, and the game itself has the best storyline so far IMO. Flying a glider around that was built by your close friend, Leonardo Da Vinci? Superb.

ACII and AC Brotherhood are two of my favorite games of all time.

IV is probably next.

I wish they'd make another AC in either the Istanbul or Crusades setting, as I feel like those had a ton of potential but the games were just underdeveloped.

Man you weren't kidding. Finished it tonight. Great game.

Yeah that was a good one... My fav single player game is still Red Dead though, that game just grabbed me, I've played through it twice and am thinking of hoping to pick it up again...

Anyway, I picked up Madden today, think I may take a few teams and just ride the different stories...

FIFA is still my game currently though, just took over Scotland in 2019... Pretty good roster to work with... Looking forward to the Euros and my first game against the oppressors from the south... ;)

ACamp speaking of replaying games, I'm not sure if I'll ever go back to the last of us again. It was hard to stomach. Funny how much I enjoyed it but how much I don't think I ever want to see that world again.

I thought the same, it's also a linear game so the replay value it's as strong as a sandbox... But it was a great game for that first time through.

They're coming out with a sequel.

In no particular order: Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, Baldur's Gate 2, Red Dead Redemption, GTA IV, AC2/Brotherhood, Morrowind, Skyrim, Baldur's Gate II, and Mass Effect are probably my favorite single-player games ever

One of the better Maddens in a long time. Game play is great, tweak a few minor things within Connected Franchises and it'll be phenomenal next year.

All great games....except GTA IV. Not Rockstar's finest work, imo. It's a shame, because I liked the Liberty City setting in GTA III too.

Was four San Andreas?? I liked Vice City the most... The latest one had potential but was too short and missed on some things, like the heist team build... Felt rushed imo

San Andreas was just San Andreas. IV was the one with Nico in Liberty City. It got some good reviews at first, but it's been kind of blasted over time as it hasn't held up as well as the others. The characters and story were weak, a lot of features/vehicles were removed from previous games, it just wasn't Rockstar's best work.

I'm torn between San Andreas and Vice City as my favorite. Vice City had the whole Scarface thing going for it...cool cars, great setting, good soundtrack, and even the talk radio was hilarious. "All the bunnies are stabbing each other!" I loved that bit. San Andreas had a huge map, tons of vehicles with the addition of some real aircraft, colorful characters, gang wars and turf, three very different cities to explore, and a ton of shit to do. I prefer Vice City's setting, but would have loved some features/vehicles from San Andreas.

As far as the new GTA V, it's pretty good. I'd put it at #3 or #4 over all the main titles (I haven't played some of the obscure ones like "Ballad of Gay Tony" or "Liberty City Stories"). I still can't believe they haven't released Online Heists for multiplayer. I was looking forward to that the most...supposed to be out in the next month or two, but I'm not holding my breath. A lot of players have moved on at this point.

I liked GTAIII the best. Liberty City was awesome in that game without being too complex. Just enough "secret" stuff to keep you busy while exploring, and no vehicle overkill (finding the ONE plane, and it doesn't even fly easily haha). I liked the godfather-esque storyline a lot, as well.

Vice City is second. Storyline was fantastic, but I didn't like the setting as much as Liberty City. If I played them now, they might flip-flop, but nostalgia keeps GTAIII on top for me right now.

San Andreas is third. I would say there was vehicle overkill at that point, but they did so good with the fighter jet and the jet pack that I look past it haha.

Damn. Might have to go back and replay them all now and see if I still feel the same.
