Those were good times a couple months ago when the Pats were supposedly done...

What I am concerned about now is that the Patriots are going to blow my under bet by themselves. Gonna need them to cool it a little bit. Maybe get some Jonas Gray and Jimmy Garrapolo action.

I wish we could have gotten Manning one more time but this is pretty sweet too.

Whoa. They got Brady out in a hurry after he took that shot on the knee. Probably would have been smarter to take him out when they got to 38 or first got to 45. But a totally dominant performance; not even as close as the score.

It was cool that they took him out from the field, like they do in baseball, so the crowd could acknowledge him.

To be fair they could have done it before that. Seemed really unnecessary to keep him in.

Well, yeah, but, as they said, Luck gets 'em further every year. They do seem to need a couple of defensive playmakers, and a weapon or two at WR and RB wouldn't hurt.

Agreed they are missing some pieces especially on defense. What kills me is that we lose the same way every year. Getting the ball ran down our throats and crossing routes. Them for some changes.

It seemed like they took him out because they were up by 38 and he just got hit. It was good that he was ok, but can you imagine if Brady got hurt throwing a deep bomb, up by 38 and in the 4th quarter? Unless they said something different, they took him out because he shouldn't have been in, not for a curtain call.

I'd have to rewatch but it looked to me that the way everyone was lined up to greet him, it was by design. IIRC, they took him out after the first play (a run) on the next series. The bomb he got hit on was 3rd down on the previous series (I think).

That was ugly. Predicted they'd win by 17+. Wasn't thinking 45-7. Not looking forward to dealing with Seattle, but Pats should be quite confident.

I'll never blame someone for making a homer pick, but any neutral fan who thought the Colts had a chance tonight had to have been crazy.

Wait a second. Did y'all read the tweets? The reporter claimed that "at one point officials took a ball out of play and weighed it." What would deflating a football have to do with its weight? Am I just ignorant or does AIR in a thing not have anything to do with how much it weighs? If they were checking PSI or something, that'd make sense.

Also, the NFL isn't like college where each team controls and manages their own game balls. Both teams play with the same balls and they're managed by the NFL over the course of the game.

I can verify air does hold weight thanks to a 10th grade science experiment with a balloon. But it's like nothing, obviously.

I greatly respect Bill B. because he appears to be the closest thing to a football genius that I've seen, but these types of allegations really tarnish an otherwise incredible resume.

It's a really low move if this turns out to be true.

Brady did not sound very concerned about it on his radio show this morning. It would be hard to imagine a less scandalous "scandal," and if it wasn't the Patriots this would barely be a footnote.
