A friend of mine just told me that Alize is likely visiting Michigan now. Anyone hear any news about this?

Alize unfollowed every UCLA coach/recruiter following him tonight on twitter after Clarks post surfaced. It's officially Brian Kelly versus Jim Harbaugh for this kid.

HAHAHAHA all you folks with the wool pulled over your eyes still wanna claim that Harbaugh to UM is either a "good" thing or doesn't affect ND at all "since we don't play them"??

To be fair, if I'm not correct Jones unofficial visit was for the Michigan game this past season. We know how that turned out. As good as Harbaugh is as a coach..we made them look as bad as possible when he was in South Bend in person.

Just went into full on creep mode to see what coaches he follows. Only coaches he follows are in fact only from Notre Dame and Michigan. From Michigan he only follows Harbaugh and a assistant while from ND he follows BK, Booker, Denbrock along with Winbush, Nicco and his dad. Think this account for him is strictly for recruiting.

Gonna go take a long shower and forget I just did that.

True, but we all know that if Hoke were still HC, Alive'e would likely not be giving them a look right now. And as for what happened back in September, Harbaugh can actually use that to his advantage, no? He can use distinct contrast and compare to how Stanford and UM used their TEs before Harbaugh came to town. This is NOT a good thing any way we slice it.

Realistically, we screwed them over in our advantage to keep them down by not putting them on the schedule. They don't have enough ranked opponents to be even be in consideration for the playoffs unless if they go undefeated. A lot of people that commit to a school want to win a natty and it isn't likely Michigan can do it anytime soon in a fact sense that cfb is based on the quality wins against quality teams system.

So when does this guy flip? NSD?

I know there were mixed reviews from the analysts on his all star week. Fwiw, when I watched bis hop Gorman play against the #1 team, alize stood out as the biggest freak on what was arguably the two best Hugh schools in the country.

I've said it before and I'll say it again Harbaugh developed no TEs at Stanford and killed Vernon Davis' production in San Fran. All of the TEs had their breakout/best production under Shaw. The only TE Harbaugh used e en decently was Fleener who averaged about 35 yards a game and half a TD. There isn't a TE he's had in college that holds a candle to what Eifert and Niklas produced.

I hear you, but if that was the perception would Aliz'e be giving UM a look at this stage again? I mean isn't the whole point ND leads over UCLA because Aliz's knows that ND can better ready him as a wholesome NFL TE? Seems to me if he's giving UM a look now that he thinks Harbaugh can do the same. Kelly may very well be a better coach than Harbaugh, but the fact is Harbaugh has that new-hire momentum going whereas we're coming off 8-5 with very little TE production. I hope you're right, I'm just worried that this isn't as open/shut as some people seem to think with Aliz'e.

My favorite part of that outlandish recruiting mailer isn't the healing piles of bullshit comparisons to NFL tight ends, it's that a mouth breather who can't even pull a 2.0 at a prep school is somehow graduating in 3.25 years.

What's the point of that? Do kids really eat that up? I'd rather you convince me the school will actually better my life, not tell me some fairy tale, futuristic biography. Maybe it's because I'm not 18, but I just think that whole thing is stupid and waste of time.

My favorite part is that they don't even have him graduating- leaving for the NFL after three AA season LMFBO! Says all we need to know about how that program views their student-athletes.

Something tells me this is right up his alley...

It says he is on pace to graduate in 3 1/4 yrs which is what LAX is talking about. I guess strongly implying a graduation if not explicitly stating it.

Haha silly talk...I can get on board with that. How about the silly talk of UCLA going to back to back playoffs and winning the the 2nd one. That's as good as :spam:

Yeah, they definitely just went full retard. Also, they conveniently left out the part where Mora was nowhere to be found for 1/2 of this once he bolts for the NFL.

I guess I'm in the minority, but it doesn't bother me. Mora is a salesman stretching, but he is doing his job: selling his program/style/plan.

The parents and kids (and other coaches to some degree) have to have some accountability to be able to decipher through the BS.

Disclaimer - I can't see the pictures, but sounds like Mora's selling a 3.25 year academic schedule, a future AA, and a CFB championship. I don't have a problem with that. It's the parents and kids job to realize what's realistic and what's a dream.

If Kelly wants to make print outs of a 3 year grad plan, talk about ROI, grad %, #1 school business school in the country, winning a title, and being an AA at TEU, I'd encourage it.

Oh it's way worse than that. #1 pick in the draft, 3-time all-american!!, most hyped draft prospect to come around in the last 20 yrs....anybody that looks at this and doesn't just hear "douche" over and over and over again in their head might need to seek professional therapy.

Lol, clearly Mora is laying it on thick with no history to back it up... But to me, that's the recruits job to look at recent history and see that any clown puncher at any BCS school has the same claim as what Mora just did.

Parents, high school teachers/coaches/admin, other coaches (negative recruiting) have to help their kids in this situation.

Then we should be happy Mora is doing it. Thanks for weeding out the dumb ones UCLA.

And Chris Clark seems dumb enough to buy it, so if I'm a UCLA fan, I'm A-OK with him using this to sell Clark.

Could you argue that he developed Coby Fleener? Also Zach Ertz for 2 years? Fleener was a 3 star the #40 TE coming out of HS, and he played in my old schools conference and you rarely heard about him, as compared to Weishar you heard about him all the time as a TE. Niklas was #221 4 star coming out of high school. So if you look at stats below you would say that a lower rated player was developed more by Stanford than Niklas to your argument.

Fleener Stanford Stats
Rec 96
Yards 1543
TDs 18

Niklas
Rec 37
Yards 573
TDs 6

that was fleener's stats in how many years? 4 years with his most coming his last year w/ 34

Troy in being switched to TE DURING his soph season his following year he had 32 and then left...so it is safe to assume he had that ben koyack potential

Anybody else notice that Clark "one" the Mackey Award? Might need to proofread.

Someone like Clark who flips every time he gets an offer eats it up big time. Kid loves to be stroked.

Say want you want about the grammar, story, etc., but I think it's a good recruiting ploy. Not any different than these teams who photoshop a kids head onto their uni and put them on the cover of a fake magazine. It's all sales.

It doesn't bother me either personally and it seems right up Clark's alley. Smart move by Mora and staff to realize this kid is a tool and recruit accordingly. The fact that their all over his jock like this makes me feel even better about Alize.

So some info last night from Loy. Alize is no longer following any of the UCLA coaches on twitter. He also changed his twitter handle from @therealhybrid (which is the nickname UCLA coaches gave him) to @alizejones8. Lastly, Loy believes that he doesn't take any more visits and never steps foot on UCLA's campus again.
