Jim Mora rumors are circulating with the NY Jets and SF..things could get even more interesting. Go Irish!

Didn't want to clog up Alize's thread, but does anyone know if Mora leaving would have an impact on Soso's recruitment, or is there an assistant taking the lead there?

If Mora leaves, it's open season on every single UCLA player. Would have a huge impact.

Vanderdoes transfers back, magically is able to play his first season here, Notre Dame is your 2016 National Champions.

That would be awesome. I'd pretty much given up hope on Soso, but I'll hold out a little that Mora will be leading the 49ers next year.

Could happen...EV and fam either have good lawyers or good pics of prominent NCAA leaders / No italics

Poster on II said his brother is working the UA game and was watching the ND-LSU in the lounge yesterday. Said Wimbush, ESB and Soso were watching the game together and rooting for ND. They were last ones to the practice field because they watched the game until the end.

That's cool. Hopefully Soso saw what the run game COULD be like next year. He has to realize that he would get touches day one.

Is that true? He would be guaranteed to be behind Folston and I think there is a strong chance he'd be behind Bryant as well.

We had 3 Rb's get touches this year, right? He didn't say that he would be the starter just that he'd get touches, which is pretty accurate.

You're right, but I suspect that Soso would not be content with the third banana treatment that GB got this year.

I think I read on ISD or something that he is looking for a Fournette or Chubb role his first year.

Soso just needs to be as good as Fournette or Chubb and he'll get the same workload.

I haven't seen that once. Not saying it isn't true but that hasn't come up on II or BGI. Also, Chubb is only playing because the two in front got hurt. Chubb started the year as the 3rd or 4th back very similar to what Soso would be doing.

Ugh with RB depth chart. How many times does it have to be said? The RB that does all or most of what BK requires his RBs to do will play. If Soso can come in and do all that then he will play, or he will be like Bryant, who hasn't. There is no comparison to the way Fournette or Chubbs have been used with regards to ND RBs. They are not even close to the same position and the learning curve appears to be pretty steep or BKs trust level needs to be tempered. Either way any RB with the expectation of early playing time should shop somewhere else than ND.

Agree with this completely, haven't seen anything about Soso having that type of attitude. All I have heard is he wants a chance to compete and knows both schools will allow him to do that

Really doubt Soso said that. Personally I don't kids who expect playing time to be given to them. I want the kids who understand that no matter how good they are playing time is earned.

The leprechaun is ahead of Greg Bryant. Kelly is going to keep Bryant at the bottom of the rotation until koon strokes out.

LOL

Agree. Learn to pick up the blitzing LB or DB and you'll get plenty of playing time.

Besides watching the game hopefully Wimbush & ESB (if he is supposedly truly a silent commit) put some recruiting work in for Soso to join them with the Irish.

Per BGI Alford was hitting him up on twitter all week. He thought that Jones was leaning toward ND but realized it was USC because Alford was communicating with him so much. Also, we were the only school that sent him mail at his hotel room, which he thought was special.

Sounds like a neat story he can share with his buddies at UCLA next year.
