Yeah but you lose that advantage when the distance is so long. No DB worth his salt is focused on the run game at that situation.

The way they are running and our young defense is playing, I give LSU the edge. But ND has a punchers chance if Kelly doesn't f it up.

Yeah, it is what it is. It always drives me crazy when these announcers start spitting out "facts," I wonder who does their fact checking. Makes them look like asses to the fans of the teams watching, but I'm sure the casual viewer has no idea. Same thing happened against Rutgers last year with Reece and Palmer, their "facts" were driving me crazy. "Bennett Jackson has been ND's best corner all year." LOL

I think he was talking about using it during a managble down and distance not when we were way behind the chains.

Early in the game with the ball on the 28 Rod said it was out of Brindza's range. Later ND was again on the 28 and Rod said it was well within Brindza's range.


Somebody was hoping for a bigger bowl assignment.

Other then turnovers that offense has been good this year. So this shouldn't really surprise anyone IMO.
