Yeah throughout the entire process to this point he has been glowing about OSU. Idk if he ends up there but if I had to guess today, it seems to be in their favor.

If signing day for him was today he'd be a Buckeye, IMO. Good thing is its not but I'm very surprised we aren't on top of this more, knowing he has a June timeline. Thats been known for a while now. Also, with limited spots in 2015 open, one would think we'd start to place an early importance on 2016.

Shows a bit of immaturity, but he's young with plenty of time to learn.

I think one of the hardest things for a young person to learn is that you have to throw aside the idea that bad things can't or won't happen to you. We've all had friends drive drunk saying, "I won't get pulled over," or in this case, "I don't need to go to a college with great graduation rates; I'm going to graduate no matter where I go."

Werent you the one that jumped on me in another thread for "posting blindly."

If you read the quote, you would see this is entirely wrong regarding Mack.

Maybe the staff already has a good read on him and don't think they can land him?

Seriously. How is this a thing? First cornell/hilliard, and now this?

I was never a believer in the 'BK owns Urban in recruiting' claim. Urban doing work.

It was definitely all Warriner, but losing Decker to them sucked/sucks. He's the missing meanie on the oline.

Eli Apple, Ezekiel Elliot, Joey Bosa, Jalin Marshall, Dante Booker, Jamarco Jones, Justin Hilliard, Jerome Baker, Jashon Cornell, Taylor Decker. Urban's doing just fine.

Doesn't Bosa absolutely despise ND? How is he considered a once serious target? How are even half of those guys? I don't think any of them besides Decker even visited, but could be wrong as usual.

You're ridiculous.

Who the hell ever said that? We've just done well despite there being arguably the best recruiter in the nation at Ohio State.

What are you talking about? Why do you have to rip apart or can't believe why any prospect would go anywhere other than Notre Dame? What's wrong with winning a Big Ten Championship and compete for National Titles.

I don't mean this in a bad way but the way we ended our season who really wants to come play for us right now? There is a reason we have 0 recruiting momentum.

We have beaten OSU plenty of times in a head to head recruiting battle so guess what this shit is going to happen. OSU and ND were right there for Hilliard and it could have gone either way. Guess what OSU won that recruiting battle and for Cornell no one wanted him. There is a reason the staff didn't push that hard for him. You need to get over it because Cornell was never a lock to come here

Wow...you couldnt have missed my point more if you tried. Its not a matter of losing a recruiting battle with O$U. That happens. Its a matter of losing to O$U for the 2 top recruits IN OUR OWN STATE. Thats quite embarrassing considering how big of a recruiting hotspot Ft Wayne has been for us. The cornell situation is coincidental, considering he and hilliard were seen as a package deal, as are these two.

We're gonna take the best player in Ohio in 2016. Hell you can argue Crawford is the best player in Ohio this year.

I don't think Cornell and Hilliard were a package deal. Their recruitments aren't over man!! They won't be deciding till the spring and we will get them on campus a couple more times. OSU has the momentum now and if they keep it till they decide then that is a great win for OSU and nothing ND could do. Some kids just like other schools more and not everyone loves ND like we do. I have talked to someone who is very, very confident both will end up at ND. We have no momentum right now and OSU is playing for a championship tonight.

Stop making sense, so what happens when we land Eichenberg and land two 5 star tackles from Ohio. Shucks

No, it's not embarrassing. And no, they aren't a package deal. And ND didn't want Cornell. Rumors also point to OSU unsure if they want to keep Cornell.

Not every kid born in Indiana want to play for ND. Some of it is less ND football then it really is ND academics.

BK has yet another Top 10-15 class. Relax.

Wait, wait, wait...you're the one who brings up Hilliard and Jashon and now you're the one saying it's nothing more than "coincidental" (as in, other than you thinking there are similarities, the situations aren't the same)? If your problem was that we are losing two kids from our own state, why in the hell did you bring up those two? For goodness sake, we stopped recruiting Jashon and Justin is from Ohio. It's not a surprise we could lose those two. Meanwhile, Robertson grew up a Buckeye fan.

We have done a great job in Indiana, and it's not even an easy state to lock down because people who are born in Indiana aren't all die hard ND fans. There are TONS of Michigan, Michigan St, and Ohio State fans here, not to mention the other in state colleges.

Rambo I would rep you but I can't. Don't be so mean to Sean though man, it's not his fault for his passion for ND. Or else he is just a great troll.

If I remember correctly EE was thought to be a ND lean then visted OSU and committed on a vist.
Dante booker was recruited hard by ND as well he may have visted.

EE was very, very close to committing to ND. Thing is that we wanted him as a corner and OSU wanted him at RB. Hence why he ended up in Comeblowus

Yes. Eliot wanted to be the next Percy Harvin not Kavaire Russell.

What they ultimately decide is their choice but the effort we put in is ours. I haven't seen one thing that makes me think we're putting in the necessary effort with their decision timeline closer than most 2016's.

Yep, we also missed on Bryon Marshall who I really flippin wanted. Corey Clement too. I am very happy with Tarean Folston but it would have been nice to see someone other then #33 run the ball this year.

I thought Marshal didn't have the grades to get in. I do like me some Corey Clement though.

Lucky, the coaching staffhas put forth the effort, plus, Mack talks to Jaylon all the time since they are from the same HS. Urban got in real early with Mack, and as soon as Robertson was offered, they jumped to the top for his services. Robertson is originally from Lima, Oh, and grew up a pOSU fan. It hasn't been for lack of effort for these two kids.....
