He dropped his head. It seems his pickup is where it should be, its the technique that needs work.

A little surprised we didn't see a true RB screen. Given how aggressive FSU was, seemed like it might have helped.

Anyone see how open he was on the Golson INT?

I kept thinking that all night. Tarean has been explosive on that play all year. I kind of want to see Bryant get one of those, just because I like nice things lol.

I do not remember a Notre Dame tailback getting the 95% of the carries, even in just a single game. Usually i always saw a lot of split snaps (Allen/Hughes) (Theo/Cierre) etc. It must be frustrating for Mcdaniel and Bryant..

He separated himself, in my opinion. Give him the rock.

I think so, too. He looked like he was running with a purpose last night. That's probably the first time I have seen that out of him this year. I mean, the kid is a great talent, but he seemed a little........ timid, almost............ in the previous games. But he certainly shed that, last night. He ran HARD!!

I'm completely impressed by his balance and leverage. Subtle little things he does like lowering his level slightly to gain more yards. Kid played a great game, he's going to be a monster moving forward.

His HS highlights music was always my favorite. (Since YouTube removed Golson's music...)

Had his 2nd career 100-yard rushing game rushing for 120 yds. He had no carries for a loss on 21 attempts. His career best is 140 yds against Navy last season.

He needs to be the #1 and has been the past 3 games. Not sure what is going on with GB, but love me some Folston.

He looks faster than last year, last season he had two carries (against Oklahoma and BYU) where he was caught from behind very easily. I think he looks leaner as well.

I think he had more rushes than Golson had pass attempts last night. I can't think of the last time a Rb did that. He looks good. Blocking, slipping out of the backfield turning and getting downfield. He was also really patient and hit the holes fast. Love it.

He showed great patience and burst last night. Getting away from a 2 or 3 man rotation has paid dividends.

Interesting how the Bryant/Folston dynamic is similar to the Wood/Riddick dynamic. In each case the more highly rated recruit (Bryant/Wood) ended up redshirting while the other guy (Riddick/Folston) seems to be the more complete back.

Over 5 YPC and we still abandon the run when LEADING in the second half SMH.
Felt the same way after the FSU game. Coach needs to self-scout a little bit, I think he might be making some of this more complicated than it need be.

Riddick was not the more complete back. If Wood hadn't been in Kelly's doghouse he would have been one of the best ND backs in a very long time.

Disagree. Just like with TF and GB, Riddick did(and does) the small things much better than Wood did.

It's a thing of beauty watching a football player grow right in front of your eyes.

Ran for 134 yds against UL. Has now rushed for 100 yds in 4 of the last 5 games.

He has run for a TD in back to back games for the first time.

ran the wrong play on 1st and goal at the end.

was calling for that same outside zone play he'd been getting 15-20 yards on all day.

instead we run to the boundary with less guys to block and he gets stuffed for a yard setting us up to pass on 2nd and 3rd.
