Yeah throughout the entire process to this point he has been glowing about OSU. Idk if he ends up there but if I had to guess today, it seems to be in their favor.
Shows a bit of immaturity, but he's young with plenty of time to learn.
I think one of the hardest things for a young person to learn is that you have to throw aside the idea that bad things can't or won't happen to you. We've all had friends drive drunk saying, "I won't get pulled over," or in this case, "I don't need to go to a college with great graduation rates; I'm going to graduate no matter where I go."
If signing day for him was today he'd be a Buckeye, IMO. Good thing is its not but I'm very surprised we aren't on top of this more, knowing he has a June timeline. Thats been known for a while now. Also, with limited spots in 2015 open, one would think we'd start to place an early importance on 2016.

I was never a believer in the 'BK owns Urban in recruiting' claim. Urban doing work.
It was definitely all Warriner, but losing Decker to them sucked/sucks. He's the missing meanie on the oline.
Eli Apple, Ezekiel Elliot, Joey Bosa, Jalin Marshall, Dante Booker, Jamarco Jones, Justin Hilliard, Jerome Baker, Jashon Cornell, Taylor Decker. Urban's doing just fine.
Seriously. How is this a thing? First cornell/hilliard, and now this?

What are you talking about? Why do you have to rip apart or can't believe why any prospect would go anywhere other than Notre Dame? What's wrong with winning a Big Ten Championship and compete for National Titles.
I don't mean this in a bad way but the way we ended our season who really wants to come play for us right now? There is a reason we have 0 recruiting momentum.
We have beaten OSU plenty of times in a head to head recruiting battle so guess what this shit is going to happen. OSU and ND were right there for Hilliard and it could have gone either way. Guess what OSU won that recruiting battle and for Cornell no one wanted him. There is a reason the staff didn't push that hard for him. You need to get over it because Cornell was never a lock to come here
Wow...you couldnt have missed my point more if you tried. Its not a matter of losing a recruiting battle with O$U. That happens. Its a matter of losing to O$U for the 2 top recruits IN OUR OWN STATE. Thats quite embarrassing considering how big of a recruiting hotspot Ft Wayne has been for us.

The cornell situation is coincidental, considering he and hilliard were seen as a package deal, as are these two.
We're gonna take the best player in Ohio in 2016. Hell you can argue Crawford is the best player in Ohio this year.

No, it's not embarrassing. And no, they aren't a package deal. And ND didn't want Cornell. Rumors also point to OSU unsure if they want to keep Cornell.
Not every kid born in Indiana want to play for ND. Some of it is less ND football then it really is ND academics.
BK has yet another Top 10-15 class. Relax.
If I remember correctly EE was thought to be a ND lean then visted OSU and committed on a vist.
Dante booker was recruited hard by ND as well he may have visted.
who?
EE was very, very close to committing to ND. Thing is that we wanted him as a corner and OSU wanted him at RB. Hence why he ended up in Comeblowus
Wait..Elliot wanted to play RB and we whiff on Hood ....this ish is getting depressing.
Yep, we also missed on Bryon Marshall who I really flippin wanted. Corey Clement too. I am very happy with Tarean Folston but it would have been nice to see someone other then #33 run the ball this year.
What they ultimately decide is their choice but the effort we put in is ours. I haven't seen one thing that makes me think we're putting in the necessary effort with their decision timeline closer than most 2016's.
