Jimbo Fisher ends media interview due to Jameis Winston questions
Not sure if posted but Jimbo has jumped 100% aboard the Jameis train and will ride this baby as far as it will take. To take his stance so strongly that Jameis has done absolutely nothing wrong is a very scary thing to say. Not sure who I dislike more at this stage. Jimbo who is riding a gravy train of ignorance yet knows that it's wrong while lying to America, or Jameis who might have some serious issues but blatantly doesn't give two shits about anyone other than himself and whatever he feels like doing at this moment.
Hmmm...I'd thought you had to be a junior to declare for the draft.
Either way, a Winston departure is all part of the script. Even FSU knows they can't protect him forever. FSU is looking for another post-season payday, and when they've squeezed every ounce of profit from a kid of questionable character and morals, they'll discard him as quickly as possible. That's how the game works these days. The NCAA will never come knocking, and FSU will never be penalized for turning a blind eye.

Although the game has been played and passed, this is Actually how this kid is wired, " Greed is Good " in other words very, very Gordan Geico esque ( Michael Douglas The Movie " Wall Street ) and in some ways I think you need that if you want to be THE MAN, I'm not saying to be an alledged "sexual abuser and all the other stupid shit ) but when this kid needs to perform he does.If Jameis plays I don't think he'll be phased by what's going on at all. The kid had been playing with a black cloud over his head for a while now. He doesn't give afuck.
I'll go even further to say he'll play better than normal. Fisher will pull the strings and create a unified "us against the world" feeling, like someone said earlier.
There is nothing more Jameis' ignorance likes better than an inflated moment to pretend like he's some incredible leader. In alot of ways his ignorance is bliss, his nonchalant attitude is a gift.
But that's not to say this won't affect other team members or even the staff. But Jameis? He's designed, molded and manipulated to play ball, no matter the circumstances.
Hopefully ND takes this week and tightens screws.. The media has focused completely on FSU and left us alone for the most part. There is no reason we shouldn't come out sharp and hungry.
Well, he'll certainly find a home in the NFL, where they appear to be ready to allow a guy like Ray Rice to return when there is video evidence of him knocking out his fiance. Winston will fit right in.
I just can't imagine this dipshit being the face of a franchise in the NFL. Absolutely zero chance, if I'm a GM, I draft this knuckle head.
I'd sure as hell draft him. Not at the top of the entire draft, but I'd definitely draft him.
And more than 1 of 32 teams will feel that way.
Please, The now departed Jeff Ireland of the Miami Dolphins drafted Ryan Tannyhill at the N0.8 spot in the 1st round and he had hardly played QB at Texax A&M, Mark Dominic ( former GM of the Tampa Bay Bucs) drafted Josh Freeman who they knew had some baggage, but The University of Kansas and the Bucs former HC Raheeim Morris kept it under wraps, so there will be more than a few GM's that would take a chance of getting this kid even in the 1st round. it's just that you're walking in a Mine field and hoping you didn't take the wrong step when you take a chance on a player like that but on the flip side of that..... You know what you're getting i.e Percy Harvin. He's teetering on falling out of the first round, IMO. No sane GM wants to gamble their job on taking him with a top 10 pick and watching him flame out.

This did happen but I'd be supprised if the leauge did this again because they got threaten by the NFLA Players Union of a Law Suit if the leauge would make an attempt to do again and add to the fact that's the last thing they need now because of the way they've handle the Ray Rice situation ,and there's still some seething decension between them ( the league office and Jonathan Vilma on the socalled Bounty Gate scandal which it's not completely cleared up simply because the league wants to clear it up with an apology and Jonathan Vilma want's Money !Question: After the OSU fiasco, was there not a NFL rule implemented that stated suspended players may not enter the draft? Isn't that why Pryor went undrafted and had to get into the League via the supplemental draft? If so, then it's highly possible that FSU puts off this hearing/verdict until after the season (so they get theirs, of course) and then suspends/expells him. Doing this may make him ineligible for the draft (if my memory serves me correctly) and he'll be forced to make a choice. Perhaps I'm way off here. I didn't take the time to research it. Figured someone would know the ins and outs of this.
Edit: I remember Pryor had to sit the season at OSU so he opted to leave and sit 5 games in the NFL. I just can't recall the specifics as to why he wasn't drafted in the official NFL Draft. Is it because he withdrew from OSU for the year prior to the draft?
Really, and issue of credibility of the accuser ?Keep in mind (and SIAP), reading the NY Times article, she had no idea who Winston was. She found out his name by being in class with him, and she waited for the professor to say his name out loud and she wrote it down.
Hardly normal behavior for someone who's just looking to make some money/get attention.
He'll be a top pick...
He'll be a top pick...
He'll be a top pick...
They proably could but they wouldn't because it's been rumored that the SEC would like to have FSU and if they did that FSU would pay the buy out and jump ship and the SEC would proably help them to do so and trust me, that would be the last thing the ACC would want. Also let's not forget that the NC2A voted this pass summer to let the 4 major conference granted atominity to seek out their own type of discipline envolving their players of infractions that's been committed.I read the ESPN article....One quick question came to mind.....can the ACC commish, or even the NCAA, step in and suspend players and then demand a true, through investigation by impartial and outside sources?? It is clear that FSU needs to be investigated....FSU investigating themselves is about as corrupt and ridiculous as Eric Holder investigating the DOJ....How can one investigate itself or its cash cow objectively?? It's called a conflict of interest....this crap with JW is getting beyond stupid and embarrassing....it's making the NCAA and ACC look stupid now too....and that bothers me because of ND's new relationship with the ACC....this crap can't be being tolerated by the other members of the conf...it's friggin' unreal.....
Agreed, and let's look at it this way : With the type of money being made amongst these conferences from the new TV deal and Heavily funded Conference stations there's a growing sentement amongst some that maybe they don't need NC2A so they can cut deals own their own with out them ,and I think the officials at NC2A know this.I think the A&M ordeal went down slightly differently. The Aggies were well prepared to go to court if the NCAA moved on JFF. The NCAA at that point took what they could get - which was the half game suspension. They really had no choice as they had zero proof JFF received $$ for signing. I think they knew they would lose in court when, not if, A&M took them there.
I do think the same applies here with JW. No proof gives the NCAA very little leverage if any at all.
No because more people will watch the game to scream and curse at him so the the TV ratings with him playing is what the networks want and will get.So if FSU wasn't undefeated, is JW suspended at this point?
He'll be a top pick...
With the first pick in the draft, the Allenville Texas Penitentiary chooses ... Jameis Winston. Go Green Machine!!!!!
I'd sure as hell draft him. Not at the top of the entire draft, but I'd definitely draft him.

Draft him then sign Dani Santino and Nico Careles. They worked wonders for TK.
