All the Gator guys on 24/7 now have ND Crystal Balls, with Andrew Spivey of Gator Country picking the Irish yesterday.

What a monster LB haul we will have if we can land him in a week.

I think Koon was the only one thinking there might be a violation, and even then, he didn't even care and doubted the NCAA did either. I thought this was a pretty calm discussion on NCAA rules, not madness.

10 posts of whether it was or wasn't...i provided facts to end it...felt like madness reading it...

There's the excitement!!!

While I agree that it would be a great haul, I'll personally contain my excitement until he actually picks ND. Its neck and neck and he could change his mind.

Hilliard was a big need before Schmidt emerged. Now we are able to create some depth...

Is it Tevin or Te-vahn?

Did Family Matters teach you nothing? When given a choice between Steven and Stefan, the latter is always preferable.

The Gators Homecoming weekend didn't go too well...42-13 beating at the hands of Missouri. This can't help their chances too much.

I said this at the end of last year and beginning of this year. Muschamp has done one of the worst coaching jobs in CFB. It is truly remarkable how bad they are with all the talent on that team. Very similar to Hoke at Michigan, I think it's pretty apparent he can't cut it. I wonder how much this will open up some recruitments for big time prospects like Cowart.

They'll bring in Mullen and sell how he made an afterthought of a program in the SEC into a contender. I'd be surprised if when it's all said and done they actually lose that many commits or recruits that are seen as locks.

I wasn't necessarily saying they have a terrible class but I do believe you'll see kids like Baker, Holland, Cowart, Jefferson, etc. will look around a little more than maybe they would've before this season.

I'm guessing Bob Stoops, Dan Mullen and Hugh Freeze will head the list for a new coach.

Bob Stoops?
Either way, now's the time to go poaching Florida recruits. Once they hire a new coach - and it'll be a big name -- it'll be all positive momentum for the Gaters. A fresh start, etc.

Seems to me like its becoming more and more true that NOBODY gets a "big name" to leave a good thing and take a risk, even at the best programs (see Texas, USC, Florida, Michigan) unless the timing is perfect. I would give Stoops to Florida about a 5% chance.

It will be very interesting to see who Florida gets.

My current guess would be Mullin, but even he might not want the job (they all seem to get cold feet and prefer to stay in a good spot--no matter how short lived it turns out to be).

I wonder if Ruffin McNeil from ECU gets snatched up?

if UF can't land Mullen then they are truly hopeless. It's always a feast or a famine with them, if they land Mullen i bet they win the SEC next year lol.
