Was on ESPN earlier this season against Bergen Catholic and balled. I was thinking that PSU got themselves a player. Give him a seat if he wants to be on the bus.

He had like 340 total yds. and 4 TD's in the first half of that game.

News like this really does make you appreciate how hard this staff must work. They are going hard behind the scenes on players we don't even know about. Talk about a 24/7 job.

Ferrell says PSU fans should be worried "quite a bit" by this visit.

Per the twitters.

He certainly has no size, speed, or arm strength concerns. His throwing motion is elongated but still doesn't have a slow overall release seeing how quickly he goes through that motion. I can certainly see the Braxton Miller comparisons.

Man reading Penn St boards is a trip... Just oblivious to the issues they had and vile things that they say about ND and Kelly. Wow.

Any chance this has to do with getting a free look at Stanford?

A few have shot that down. Basically it sounds like Stanford is just too far away. ND never offered and has now shown the interest plus ND has the academics he is looking for in a college.

Damn, a lot of Kelly hating going on there. Also saw a reference to the Sullivan tragedy. Are other fanbases really still holding that over the program's head? It was an awful event, but if we're going to start throwing rocks about things that happened under a coach's watch...

Penn State fans are delusional. They can say stuff about that, but the Sandusky investigation can't be brought up around them without someone saying it was a "misunderstanding." (in terms of Joe Pa, not the rapes)

I think Stanford was shot down more because he couldn't get into Stanford based on an AP course he didn't take or something like that vs. distance.

Yeah that's ridiculous. A horrible accident or a child raping defensive coordinator that a whole administration covered up... State Penn fans make Skunkbears tolerable.

I hadn't heard that and not saying thats not right but wouldn't he have an opportunity to change that since he committed prior to his senior year?

That's when you simply post, "Sandusky".

Kelly is a winner and he's going to take heat from other fan bases. I'd be concerned if they were cheering him on like we did for Kiffin and now for Hoke.

Anytime other fanbases want to rip on ND, they just list off Sullivan, Seeberg, and Kekua. Somehow the mere mention of these tragic events is self-evident proof of how terrible of a person Kelly is or how immoral the university/program is. These comments are made by supporters of PSU, USC, OSU, UMich, etc without a tinge of irony or self-awareness. In the next breath they'll vigorously defend the actions of Paterno, Tressel, and their ilk. It's quite fascinating.

Stanford fans are pretty disgusting about this stuff, too. (All 10 of them.)

Add academic dishonestly to the list. Kelly is running a football factory over here.

Yes. Apparently Stanford told him what he had to do (believe it was take an AP course), and he chose not to. Thus, he can not get admitted to Stanford.

This is hearsay, but that is what I have heard. Not 100% sure on accuracy, but it would explain a good amount.

Despite the fact that Kelly had virtually nothing to do with any of them.

It means things are going pretty well at ND.
