This kid's recruitment kinda reminds me of JuJu Smith's recruitment.

This recruitment has overtones of past recruitments. Call me crazy, but he reminds me of JuJu Smith. I'm going out on a limb and stating that USC is the strong favorite here.
yeah we've all heard this song and dance before. a big time commit saying how much they like ND and how important academics are only to see them sign with usc or some other school.

Like always: win and everything else will be taken care of. We have a great opportunity to catch fire on the recruiting trail as more players see what we are doing. You can't imagine the excitement if Notre Dame is 5-0 heading into Tallahassee. And if we give them a good game (or win) then it'll be a massive statement for recruits.

We have to keep winning. Plenty of teams are 2-0. Iman might find the BVG defense very appealing if we are winning and our safeties/CBs continue to rack up stats like last week.

Just win baby.

Go back and read the Max Redfield thread. Very simlilar, "he's not coming here" comments. Winning changes a lot. We don't get Redfield, Bryant, Folson, or a month of Vanderdoes without that 12-0 season in 2012.

If we're sitting 6-0 going into Tallahassee and have a good showing, that will get us into a lot of homes the staff is pushing for now. Maybe we don't land Iman but instead land a Marvel Tell.

Jaylon continues and has a big year, watch the 2016 LB class. They'll come. We finally have an exciting defense. Making big hits, causing turnovers, blitzing on 3rd down..... Kids take notice of BVG getting fired up on the sideline.

Just win baby!

What 12-0 season?

My feeling of him not coming here has more to do with academics. He hasn't taken his ACT or SAT yet. He is very late in the college application process.

ISD yesterday reported that Iman really enjoyed the ND-FSU game. He is quoted as calling them "championship-caliber" teams and said he will visit both ND and FSU when he begins locking in his official visits after taking the SAT in November.

They made it seem like he was very excited with ND's performance last week.

Will visit Notre Dame, Michigan, Florida State, LSU and Oklahoma.

ND visit could be this weekend, or for the banquet. I personally think it's for the banquet if he makes the visit.

The other 4 are after the season as well. Will UV to Stanford.

Well my wish of getting him on campus should come true. I know he is considered a strong U$C lean but I hope he is mezmerized by the campus, tradition, facilities.

I don't like that ND is the first visit. Also, this is a UCLA/USC battle with USC in firm control. His dad is a huge USC fan. Better to keep expectations low on this one.
