Basically Henry, Kraemer, and Eichenberg to start this class could put ND on the verge having the best 2016 class when its all said and done. He says he's confident in these 3 crystal balls.

Pretty sure ND's recruiting rivals are telling prospects the exact opposite of this right now.

Hard not to get excited. I'd love to be a fly on the wall of the Henry household and see just how close he is to a decision and if one could be made this weekend. Wiltfong said a decision is coming soon. I have to believe there's a chance its this weekend in front of BK. I'll add that Wiltfong spoke to people today that are giving him this impression. Calls a potential Henry commit "a lightning rod" for other potential commits in the 2016 class.

Great! I would PRAY that EVERY other single coach trying to recruit against ND would TRY to use that line if I'm an ND recruiter.... because the first line out of my mouth as an ND recruiter this cycle is:

"Malik (in this case), when these other coaches come at you and say... 'look what ND does to its players academically with investigations and all that', remember this... he wouldn't be telling you that if he thought you could get through ND without cheating, would he? No. I mean, would he have mentioned that if you were a 4.0 / 36 ACT guy? No. But he mentioned it TO YOU because he questions your intelligence and he DOUBTS you. Is that who you want to play for, some guy who doubted you 2 years before you even got to campus?... cuz you KNOW what's next, he's the guy who's gonna doubt you on the field. Doubt is the absence of trust... ND trusts you, ND believes in you 100%. Don't let them disrespect you... come to ND and show ALL those doubters what you know and what we know... and that's Malik Henry is the total package and if you doubt him, he will crush you"

Gotta pull a Rabbit from 8 Mile and take what you know is coming from the opposition and use it against them.

In every updated post or article he has had the feeling ND leads for a couple months now. He has said there is always an extra emphasis/upbeat feeling when he discusses ND.

As of right now, and for weeks past, ND is the leader. He loves the qb coach and the system. Not taking Barnett is a huge help in his recruitment.

If Malik commits, I really hope the staff doesn't slow down even 1% recruiting him and the other QBs in the class. They should know by now that a commit by a high-profile recruit just means he likes Notre Dame the most at that very moment, and nothing more.

I don't play the site's game but I'd buy some and back you on that. Dude is a straight up recruiting ho. I think the only way he'll make it to Tuscaloosa is if they win the title.

Question for those more knowledgeable than I but where is Malik, developmentally, in comparison to Barnett. I really liked BB on film and I see some similarities.

Also what is the skinny on Barnett not finishing at Alabama? Where is this coming from. PM me if necessary so not to derail Maliks thread.

Malik is more accurate and fundamentally sound. Barnett has a bigger arm, frame and speed, but wasn't great on accuracy or decision making last year. IMO Barnett has higher upside, but also a much lower floor.

Thanks guy. I noticed his placement was terrific but I can't seem to judge velocity all that well. His highlights for a sophomore are wonderful.

Yeah he can absolutely spin it. Barnett may have a stronger arm, but it is not by much. Henry has a cannon himself.
