This is the one game that worries me every year.

We never play well against Michigan. Ever. The only time we beat Michigan is when they manage to play worse than we do, a la 2008 or 2012.

Golden Tate got mugged all game by the Michigan DBs, Kyle Rudolph had a 70+ yard reception nullified by a BS holding call on Sam Young, etc. etc.

This was also the same year Indiana got hosed in AA. Late 4th quarter drive, IU receiver and UM DB had dual possession, which by rule goes to the offense. Ref gave the INT to Michigan, game over. Absolute horseshit call.

Yup. This was the year I started believing refs could be bought or were inherently biased. And then I got to know some officials, and they confirmed that many people in the business are fans who influence games (or are bought off).

It was so egregious that Michigan changed their officiating agreement with us after that game such that B1G officials were no longer allowed to call the games at their place.

I expect serious home (away?) cooking from the B1G refs this year in this final game.

I want to drop 40+ on them so badly. If we can establish the run early, this game is over with the deep ball threats of Fuller/Brown/Prosise.

Coincidently, I just had a talk with a UM fan. He didn't understand that it might not be a good thing having a freshman step in as starting left tackle. He is convinced it is just a sign of how darned good the kid is!

He also has a logical interpretation of how having three interior offensive linemen back, who were just awful, with two NFL quality tackles, both gone, doesn't bode well for their offensive line play.

He was very excited about how great it was that Michigan had a guy that was 6'5" tall that could catch the ball. I replied, "Tell me about it ND has at least three!" I did not have the heart to tell him about Tyler Luatua.

He said that Peppers would be all over the field, and I asked was he supposed to be? I mean is that the plan? He thinks Countess is faster than any of the ND wide receivers. I looked at him like he had a bug on his face.

The other thing that few yet get is the resolve and active leadership on this team. They are a machine! They play with resolve, toughness, gumption, and a bad attitude.

Guys like Christian Lombard that complement Covington, and obviously relish in the delight of playing against top competition, and then bend them over, all day long (!!!) are what this team is about!

I liked the refs that were at the Rice game. They let them play without being a nitpick.

Sure he was... sure...

Fully expect Peppers to be full speed and ready. I don't buy that he was hurt whatsoever.

He got whacked down low and limped off the field and didn't play another snap all game.

Serious question:

Would it be a complete waste to have Jaylon spy on Gardner all game?

Then we arrive at the same conclusion lol. Can't blitz Gardner, Funchess a head taller than everyone in ND secondary. No one is sold on the UM run game yet. If their O line is even average ND is in trouble

Thinking about this the last day or so. I think if we can get pressure with our front 4, and I think we can, then I think we will be ok.

Where else to park? Plus I am coming from the north, so it is easy.

Saint Mary's. Saves you $15 and the shuttle is better post game. Or, plenty of free street parking down Notre Dame Avenue, especially if you're getting there early.

My parking lot may or may not be available- insanely close to the stadium across from innovation park, for $30. The swim team bought all 15 of the spots last week to tailgate at our place and will likely do so going forward, but if that is not the case, I highly recommend parking at my place and will give the adddress at that time.

But yeah, making $450 for home games for beer money is pretty awesome
