Nothing earth shattering. Hopes to return for a game, but he doesn't know when he would. He has to talk to his parents. Spent most his time with LaFleur. Visited a professor of sports broadcasting with Cowart and got to sit in on a TV show. Mentioned how beautiful the campus is and the "good vibe" received while being there. Can tell everyone there cares about the school.

I wouldn't be surprised if we took 2 in 2016, but I doubt the second guy would be of Haskins/Patterson's caliber.

Say we do sign Henry, top two DT-QB. Who else would want to join with him? I know some QBs do it but given Kelly's proclivity for a running QB, I highly doubt we'd find another QB who wants to sit and be a backup all game.

Kizer was a top 15 QB. 3 years remaining when the '16 class joins (assuming we don't lose both QBs).

Zaire was a top 10 QB. 2 years remaining when the '16 class joins

Golson was a three star who is playing like a top 2 QB.

It's just hard to imagine multiple QBs wanting to be in the same class at ND especially with the youth we have.

A guy like Brandon Peters might be a candidate, but he might turn into a national prospect on his own so I agree it would be tough to find a second guy. I just think missing in 2015 would allow us to take 2 if the staff saw some kid with big upside or expected Henry to go pro before his eligibility was up.

I can agree with that. The coaches are likely open to the idea of taking two QBs, I just doubt we see it transpire. Plus, they will probably be loading up on some other position (let's hope defense).

Agreed. We shouldn't have that problem after we've won 3-4 National Championships and been a consensus top 10 team for 5 years in a row. Until then, we'll be like everyone else.

Caught up with five-star QB Jacob Eason, five-star QB Shea Patterson and four-star QB Dwayne Haskins today.

Eason is firmly committed to Georgia, but Notre Dame has his attention.

With Patterson — keep an eye on where his brother lands this year or next. Could really have an impact on where Shea ends up.

With Haskins, it looks like Maryland and Notre Dame have an edge. Was told he was close to committing to Maryland. We'll see what happens.

Hopefully he holds off on that commitment for a bit.
