I wouldn't doubt if he and his family are having some real hesitation after hearing the shit fest that is all over ESPN.

He will be in contact with Longo via cell phone for the entire journey. Should be 7-1, 435lbs upon arriving in South Bend if he follows Longo's instructions.

Fitts won't be transferring to Notre Dame. Per our sources and without going into too much detail, the transfer won't work academically and Fitts will have to seek other opportunities to continue his efforts as a student-athlete. There is a chance that he will attempt to transfer into other schools from the PAC-12 and try to play immediately, but that will take approval from the NCAA and an appeals process which will likely occur soon. If that doesn't workout, he will have to drop to the Division 2 level to play immediately, or seek the junior college route.

Unfortunate, but not surprising. It's incredibly hard to get any credits to transfer, let alone the FYS requirements. It's just not something most guys can swing after spending a year elsewhere.
