We just need to control the things we can. Kick the shit out of UM and hope all those recruits at the game feel they are called to play at ND.

Then win the rest of our games and a national championship

I'm not worried about him flipping. He doesn't have the chest to play for LSU!

There really isn't a debate. He's considering LSU, hence the visits. He wouldn't be taking this many visits in there wasn't some interest.

I agree with you, which is the point I was making.

The pages-upon-pages of exploring his status are the roundabout debate, because it always ends up in the same logical place.

Not to single you out at all...but I have always hated the "control the things we can control" mantra.

If we "could" control those things, we would be undefeated every year and winning nat'l ships. Problem is everyone else is also trying to control the same thing. haha Isn't this essentially a wash in everyday life....You try to control everything you can but 100% probability says you are not going to be able to do that. For many reasons but that is another show.

I had a teacher say this to me in high school one time and the rest of the hour long class was a debate on exactly this. He didn't like my argument but could not discount it. Basically if he and I could control all that we could, then he wouldn't be teaching and I wouldn't be in that classroom at that time. Haha Just a pet peeve.

Shit...I just used that phrase today with my sales team. Now you have me thinking.

He was supposed to come down with his teammates as they are in a 7-7 tournament at LSU but that is now cancelled so it is unclear if he will still be visiting anyways

Your argument is just stating the obvious. Obviously you cant will things to happen. But if every single player in the ND program does what they're supposed to do, how they're supposed to do it, when it's supposed to be done; whether that be in the weight room, classroom, or in public, then we are in a much better spot to be successful therefore a better spot to land big time recruits. The reason coaches use the term is that they want their team to reach maximum potential, and know that it cant happen unless everyone puts more emphasis on handling their own responsibility rather than looking at how they're going to deal with the challenge of a competitor.

That's "The Process" that Nick Saban talks about.

For the record, @JerryTillery is out in Las Vegas visiting fellow #NotreDame commit @NFsoCrucial.

This is a very good thing

So his twitter bio which has read 'God, Country, Notre Dame Commit' since he committed to us has a small change to it.

Take out 'Notre Dame commit'. Replaced with 'US Army All-American'.

It's all over... And the Irish possibly needed him at RT for the 2018 season.

"God, Country, X" is still a Notre Dame thing. Just because he swapped out "ND Commit" with the more prestigious "US Army All-America" isn't dispositive of anything.

In any given ND recruiting class, we have many more recruits who don't get invited to a high-school All-American game than those that do. So getting invited to such a game is more prestigious than being committed to an elite football school, at least based on selectivity.

Maybe Tillery is leaning toward LSU over ND. But I don't think that change in his Twitter profile proves anything.

Been liked that for months. Twitter guru star69/NDfister posted it on the 247board.

Then the change predates his last visit to campus, and is likely no cause for alarm.

I have no idea of the exact timeline, but I'll bet 1,000,000 vbucks this change isn't a month old. I've kept an eye on Tillery on twitter, and hadn't noticed this until now.

But tell Fister to snapchat him to find out what's the delio.

Edit: I see it was noticed July 2nd. 1,000,000 mil on the way, but this is POST-Irish Invasion, FYI.
