As bad as Kevin Ware's injury from a couple years ago. I doubt he ever starts another game in the NBA. Good news is that he signed a huge extension for about 90 million dollars so this won't kill him financially.
Ware is back playing, no?
Not at Louisville...Idk I guess "never starts" was a bit strong but I doubt he ever plays at the same level again.
What the hell happened, did they cut him? I searched him and didn't find anything of recent.

The Pacers are absolutely fucked.
Yeah I don't see how they make the playoffs after losing their two best players.

Probably one of the worst rosters in the league. And they don't have a first rounder next year.

Don't know where he is.

It's dumb to say that players shouldn't compete in international play because of one freak injury. Could just as easily have happened in any pre-season practice or summer league game.
Did you see pro teams saying stars shouldn't compete in World Cup because Neymar got injured?
World cup =\= FIBA

I think they just changed the name recently, so in the 2010 it was actually the FIBA World Championship, so in the immortal words of Manute Bol: my bad. It's still the 2014 World Cup though, from what I've read.
They actually do. Because of the Cleveland Cavaliers' ineptitude in the 1980s (such a historically bad franchise), the NBA instituted a rule where a team cannot trade first rounders in consecutive years. I just checked it too: NBA Future Drafts Detailed - RealGM Hope that makes ya feel a bit better.
