I don't like the fact that some people donate and are asked to donate If their numbers are low, and then Elders don't follow the same criteria and just request, request, request and request some more, and get promoted to Elder. Double Standard. I'm about to float down to the feeder clan.

The donation thing is odd... I donate any time someone asks for troops I have... every time, but my numbers are jacked, one, because I get 20 troops for every take and give five troops for every give and two, because about half of all requests are for troops I either don't have at that moment, or for troops I don't have period.

I am of the school that if you donate AT ALL... you shouldn't be getting any grief... if someone doesn't like your numbers then they can quietly refuse to donate to you if it's that big a deal.

I think ACamp hit the nail on the head with the way donations are skewed, especially for lower players. As an example: I used to maintain a steady 2/1 donation prior to the clan wars. I only had level 3 troops at that time too. After clan wars started I think people got spoiled on good troops and started asking specifically for better troops. That, and my clan castle grew, which also adds to the problem.

Right now I'm at 87 donated/144 received. The number would actually be lower, but lately I've been adding a couple wizards to my camps for the sole purpose of donations (I'm using mostly huge archer configurations for raid attacks right now as I'm very close to jumping to TH 8, all upgrades nearly finished).

I don't give a crap about donation ratios AS LONG AS people aren't absurd.

For example, for the longest time I have a 1/5 style ratio AND loaded up all war castles. Why? Because I was in a low farming league. Now that I'm up in Masters I have to keep a loaded clan castle 24/7 so I'm always requesting.

So my donations... about 1000-1200 per cycle... has stayed the same, but my requests are through the roof. But I'm also only donating maxed troops but I'll take whatever junk people want to give me.

My point is that looking at the numbers is kind of silly unless someone is like 5/300 or 15/420 or something absurd like that. Then they're just leeching. If they're leeching... are they doing their war attacks and contributing in other ways? If yes, then I've got no problem at all. And I don't think it's worth focusing on. For some people to have a trade surplus others must have a deficit.

So I literally stayed up until 4 AM to get that cocksucker "saxaphone god" for coming over and talking shit earlier. He was trying to stay perma logged in by I waited patiently and hit him in the small window Supercell forces you off for after 6 hours of being logged in. Hit him for base 300k + 2.5k DE.

He logs back in and is all pissed off. Joins back to try and talk more shit and act like he didn't just get wrecked and take a 30 trophy setback on his precious trophy push. Scoreboard, asshole.

Annnnnd looks like no sleep for me tonight.

Finally moving up to TH 8 in 4 days, exciting times! Everything is pretty much upgraded to the top, save for my Tesla's, and only half of my Barracks can make dragons. Still plenty of time to start upgrades on those 4 items before the conversion is finished though. My walls are only at crystal level too, but frankly it seems like any real damaging attacks I get use hogs and dragons lately anyway. Everything else are small time hits for like ~20k resources.

I'm really wondering how beneficial it is to upgrade my walls much further. I might bump them up one more level, but at 200k a pop for just 500 extra health...seems kind of wasteful. When I make my new TH 8 design I'll probably upgrade my walls at intersections at the very least, since troops seem to like to attack intersections given the fact they can open up avenues to multiple enclosed building areas.

Alright the full story is that last evening I got raided by some level 110 guy called "saxophone god". He did this hilariously bad loonion raid where he got zero resources but used 14 max loons and 45 lev 5 minions.

As you guys may or may not know, I stole a base template from komar and BTG that is a time waster base with centralized resources. I've got it tweaked into a full farm base with the TH on the outside. It's incredibly good at doing what it does, which is making it extremely difficult for someone to get to your storages.

After I logged off, saxophone god apparently joined up to talk shit about his awesome raid and "help me with my stupid base design." I wasn't on while he was doing this, and then he left... but when I got back on and read it I decided this clown needed a serious smackdown. I'm fine with talking shit, but when you're talking shit over a raid that we were literally laughing at 10 minutes prior that's just indefensible idiocy.

So I cooked up a big army and waited. And waited. And waited. He was doing the "never log off" trick. Hours passed by as I watched all kinds of stupid stuff on TV to kill time. I tried to revenge him every couple minutes and kept visiting his base to see if he showed any signs of logging off but he would not quit.

Finally, around 4 AM, he got force logged off by Supercell. After 6 hours of constant log in they'll kick you off for a couple minutes... it's their failsafe against guys like this. I hit him up for about 300k total resources and 2.5k DE plus 30 trophies.

Right before I log off and go to bed he requests to join the clan with some super butthurt message so I let him in. He's running all hot and talking serious shit. He's so mad that in that small window at 4 AM when no one should be awake I knocked him down 30 trophies on his push to Champion (it took him 3 hours to get that many trophies). So he's talking all kinds of ish and saying things like "you're just mad that I'm better at cups than you" and "omg your base is so dumb"... while me and theprodestro (no idea why that guy was awake, but he was awesome) laughed our asses off.

So we heckled him for awhile and then booted his ass.

Moral of the story? Don't run your fucking mouth.
