Francois just reminds me too much of the QB that went to Texas that was overhyped either last year or the year before. A good athlete, but not much a passer. I cant think of his name right now though...

“@SBNRecruiting: First play. George Campbell gets wide open, drops easy ball. Seen this before unfortunately.”

IMG 7-7 Nationals in Florida. Lot of prospects there. AWP & Core 6 from the Midwest.

Campbell would be so good if just learned how to catch the dang ball. Every camp it's the same story. Amazing athleticism. Can't catch.

If he keeps that up, they'll move him to safety. Kid has everything sans hands, but he can get there.

Shame that Hoge, Crawford and Sanders are all on team Mac Speed with no other key targets. Wish at least one or two prospects were on that squad and those three could put in work.

The Opening events start today with QBs arriving for the Elite 11.

Golson is a counselor.

Also per state rules, Alabama and Lousiana prospects will not be in pads which obviously effects Tillery

Man, this thread was started in 2012. IMHO The Opening this year and every year deserves its own thread. We shouldn't have to go digging through pages to find the roster this year. I've always been all for keeping things on the site together, but in this case I think a new thread should be started.

Not a big deal obviously...it's just a thought. I'd start it myself but I dont want to step on any toes, and w the baby I can't post/edit the thread like it needs to be anyway, and there are posters like STL and others that are much more on top of these things, so they'd prob be better for that anyway.

That's not a bad idea at all considering we do the Master Lists and Who is Likely Next threads for each class individually. Even the Irish Invasion threads each year could probably be its own thread.

I updated the OP to include all the teams as well as the Elite 11 QBs, who will he assigned to a team after the Elite 11 competition. There's also a TV schedule provided.

I had been bumping the thread w/ the team rosters and all of them are on the last page except I slacked on the last two because it didn't seem like anyone was taking notice.

Elite 11 started today. Appears PSU commit Brandon Wimbush has been the most impressive. No wonder Stanford offered.

Barnett and Stidham drawing praise as well :(

What of Francois? Honestly, if ND is gonna land any QB this year, it'll probably end up being him.

Haven't looked in a couple hours but saw a lot of comments about him having a nice zip on the ball and a strong arm IIRC

Soooooo.... can we move on Brand? Or do people not break commitments to academies?

The Opening check in as begun
Josh Newberg

I spoke to Notre Dame commit Tristan Hodge, says he's rock solid to the Irish and has a list of prospects he'll be recruiting to South Bend this week.

He's 5'10" and he is not going pro. I would think the academies would lose a lot of kids since they require an after school committment.

He could probably play multiple positions (safety?), so it would be a good way to get a back-up QB that wouldn't scare anyone away from 2016!
