Williams was born in Macon, Ga., and grew up a fan of the home-state Bulldogs. His mom’s job in the Army has taken the family on stints in Georgia, Kansas, Texas andSouth Carolina.

His recruiting stock rose after making the move to Sumter from El Paso, Texas. Being a military kid, Williams could see himself going anywhere for college. Still, he would like to make it easy for his family to watch him play.

Williams said he is enjoying the recruiting process but is trying to keep his priorities in perspective.

“It’s good to have choices,” he said, “but sometimes you’re so heavy into recruiting as if you’re going to be there next year. I’ve still got another year of high school ball.”

ND is trending up recently. Before the boycott of 24/7 I saw that CBs for ND have increased and So. Car is still leading but ND is gaining ground there. Also it was reported that it sounds like UGA is back in the race for some reason. Another CB was put in for ND on 6/4/14.

2 best schools with RBs recently and 2 successful spread offenses. Kinda like getting a 3 star OL with Wisky/Bama offers

From what I am reading no matter who he commits to, if UGA comes calling and wants him I think he ends up there.

I would love him and Jamabo but he will always be a threat to flip until NSD. He seems like a good kid and wants to make a decision this summer but this is one that will go all the way if UGA stays involved.

Let him know it should be pretty easy to get on the field early with Nick Chubb and Sony Michel coming in behind another year of Gurley and Marshall!

Agreeing with you again tonight. I have a weird desire to have him in the class. I'm not comparing them as runners but he is like Andre Robinson to me. He just seems like a really safe running back to take in this class. We should be taking two and I don't think you can go wrong adding this kid even if it means not adding a better back down the road. He is just all around solid.

Sounds like to me we need to stay close to this young man so we can get a running back this cycle.

expected to visit South Bend in July and make a decision in August, before the start of his senior season … Georgia and North Carolina are also in the mix.

Gamecock 24/7 insider put up a ND Crystal ball today. Nd takes the CB lead as well.

I think this guy is underrated. I'd love to get him and a bigger back to compliment.

I think Soso has more potential because of his size, but right now I might like Ty'son better.

Ty'son and Soso would be the ideal RB pull for us.

Patrick is FSU, don't fool yourselves.

I don't think too many have found themselves that far into the kool-aid to believe in Patrick. But the other two seem VERY realistic and a strong combo.

I am higher on Patrick than Jamabo but I really like Wiliams. I think Soso and Ty'son would be a top notch tandem for sure. Great pairing.

That being said I also want a huge back to wear out a defense up the gut. Soso so could definitely do that.

Confirmed for II per ISD. They think we have a much better shot here than with Soso or Jacques. Getting him on campus is big.

I feel a great visit could seal the deal however i will reiterate that UGA could take him anytime they want.

Glad he is making it up for II.

Who knows in recruiting, but he's really high on ND and if the visit goes well and he commits (which I expect to happen), ND could beat out the childhood favorite Bulldogs if they sand bag it.

Think Kolin Hill, not Blake Barnett, lol.
