While I'd really want Waller on campus for II, I'm not sure I want a commitment until we see what Jarrett's real interest is. With that said, this really could move quickly because Waller doesn't have a ton of options.

That's ideal. Tweet didn't sound like that's going to happen, they just said 'shortly'. How amazing would it be if he could travel up with his teammate WR.

Since Waller and Barnett are buddies, maybe he can swing by Barnett's house and pick up his "Pot O'Gold".

Get him to II. With ESB.

Since 1980, what's Notre Dame's record with white QBs vs. black QBs.

I'm just saying...

Why wouldn't he have a lot of options? I know the CA QB class is strong, but this is a high 4-star recruit on every service. Don't get it.

This is probably something you could only answer after their careers have completed, but it's the internet so WTF, who would be better for the program: Barnett or Waller + St. Brown?

Was just thinking this. I think I'd put it at a draw if Waller brings St. Brown with him.

Positive posts in a QB thread aren't bannable offenses, right? (crosses fingers)

Yep.

Wiltfong and Barton Simmons. About the only two guys I care about seeing their CBs.

8 guys put in their CBs for Notre Dame

This is why I think it's silly to expect everyone to boycott not only paying 24/7, but visiting it.

IMO it's the best looking, quickest info site available and has a lot of cool features that the other sites don't have.

Hopkins sucks, but that's where I draw the line.

Now back to getting our hopes up, lol.

Does it honestly freakin matter??

I'm just kidding, obviously! Just like pretending that good or bad luck with one California kid has anything to do with any other California kids.

But I thought it was a good omen when we got a black QB from S. Carolina. The last time we had a kid like that he went 24-1 with an NC. Golson went 10-1 with an NC loss. That's a good track record for SC QBs. 34-2 with both loses coming to the National Champ.

EDIT: forgot a bunch of people.

Oregon has Barnett, UCLA Rosen, ASU White, Bama has interest and hasn't moved, Standford none, OSU is flirting but more than that. USC same. So no real options for this kid that are comparable to ND. Let me add that I'm aware that there are other schools out there but I don't think Washington and those level of schools are going to provide the interest that ND does. So no real option on our level of program.

Jarius Jackson was the only other guy, but overall we are 41-9 with 2 NC appearances.

Nope. McDougle is the other I think. From 1993
