Ozen football player Tony Brown holds a trophy he won last weekend at the Rivals100 Five-Star Challenge in Atlanta. Brown, a junior, was named a top 10 defensive back at the camp.

I have always been under the impression that the east of Texas was filled with A&M fans, not so much UT fans.

Breakdown: Tony Brown proved today that he can play corner at a high level even though he played safety for his team last season. He is natural and fluid with his back peddle and gets in and out of his cuts extremely well. Brown, who will be one of the top corners in the entire country for 2014, has great size and length for a corner to go along with his natural athleticism. What may have stood out the most to me about him today though was the fact that he was stepping up as a leader amongst the other corners even though he is one of a few underclassmen in the entire defensive back group. He is the total package at corner.

I got up early to watch the opening coverage that I dvr'd from last evening and I saw some of this kid before I deleted it. I hope he is interested in ND. And I hope he has the grades. I saw on Tigerdroppings that she isn't actually trying to get out of her LOI but she has an academic issue with eithier LSU Admissions or NCAA Clearinghouse

I read on LSU and A&M 247 that there was a mix up in trying to get in for the summer but everything was good for the fall. I then read something about their father having a stroke or something being the reason she wanted to stay closer to home but he is doing better now.

Who knows with all the misinformation out there. It could be a combination of all of that.
