On the recruiting front, Barnett gave an early commitment to Notre Dame but said two schools are still recruiting him.
“I’m still hearing from Alabama and Oregon,” Barnett said. “My commitment is rock solid though, I have no interest in taking any other visits except to Notre Dame. I’ll be there for the Irish Invasion camp and then of course I’ll take my official visit in the fall.
“If I took a visit somewhere, people would start to question how strong my commitment to Notre Dame is and that’s the last thing I want. I’m trying to recruit guys to Notre Dame, not have anyone question my commitment so I’m locked in and very excited to be with the Irish. I’m graduating early and I’m excited to get going.”

Now he is "open" and not considering ND at all. Are Cali kids just flakes or did he honestly get setup on his trip. Because he's either bi-polar or he just got paid in Eugene.

I'm gonna go with the first one. Lots of flaky CA kids, not all, but sure seems like a trend.

How many CA kids have we had that were starters or big time contributers and stuck around all 4 years? Seems like many are either gone early or never get to campus.
