To break up the negativity of the most overrated movie thread, I thought we should one for movies we do like.

My favorite movie is Clerks. I love the funny, fluid, and realistic dialogue. I also love the background story of what it took for the movie to even be made.

You have 2 of my 3 in this list...I HIGHLY recommend the other I listed...it's available on Netflix now...I've owned it on DVD since it was released...I saw it years back on IFC...great film about brotherhood. Takes place during the Irish Revolution and subsequent Civil War.

Let's make it interesting. Your favorite movie when you are inebriated or on the dope weed.

My booze movies: "The Expendables 2" and "Gangster Squad."

On weed. Anything with Steven Seagal is always hilarious.

The day we waked my father, (my sons had acquainted me with Jägerbombs) and I went home after words to cuddle with my kids on the couch and we watched Second Hand Lions. That movie was particularly tough for me because it reminded me of my dad's uncles, Joe, Charlie, and Leo, who served in WW I and were my real life equivalents of Michael Caine and Robert Duval.

We all laughed and cried.

Two unusual things : I saw the movie again, months later and it was nothing like the way I remember it; and my ex said she gave me hell for coming home like that and really let me have it. I don't remember a bit of it! I asked her what happened after she finished yelling at me, and all she said is I started chasing her around the island in the kitchen trying to grab her ass.
