I like Manziel. I'd take him if I were the Texans, no question about it.

I don't think he projects to the next level. He's not accurate enough and he doesn't fit the profile, which very few are gifted enough to succeed outside of. I wouldn't take him in the first round if I were an organization, but that's just me.

Yup, that's my opinion, too. Guys like that can have some success in the NFL and turn it into a career, even, but I'm not taking that dude in the 1st round. For that matter, I wouldn't take any of the Qb's in the 1st round this year.

I mean, the penalty isn't high like it used to be, but you can get better long-term value in other players.

I don't care for Manziel, but he'll go in the first round and be given every opportunity to make it in the NFL. The biggest key is going to be whether he learns to hang in the pocket longer then he normally does. If he doesn't, he will ride the bench.

That's a pretty damn good throw on the run. I guess I haven't watched enough Manziel to make a prediction one way or the other though in terms of his NFL future.
