Yeah-OL is a huge need. After letting Urlacher walk though, so is LB. These temp fixes are just that - temporary.

At least he looks like the "man" in the lesbian relationship.

Dunno if Manti could be that "permanent fix." I'd rather take a shot on a later round talent (like Briggs was) than throw all the eggs in Te'os basket.

My lions picked up this guy today. Hopefully Akers (who we also picked up) loses his starting job, I want to see this guy kick!!

What do you guys think so far? Over hyped like usual but the Ware and Revis situation should be interesting. I also really like the Bears signing Lamarr Houston, although it most likely means Peppers won't be back.

Love Rashad Jennings for the Giants. And Geoff Schwartz, too. Can any Seahawks fans tell me why we gave O'Brien Schofield 2 years/8 million? I'm scratching my head on this one...

Eagles signed Malcolm Jenkins for FS so I guess that means we are out of it for Byrd. Mildly disappointed but regardless Jenkins will be our best Safety

not sure the Bears are making solid moves. they have alot of work to do on both sides of the ball-maybe their draft will clear things up somewhat. at least the OL play seems to be mostly fixed.

Chiefs are getting raw dogged in free agency bidding wars. Hopefully there is a plan in place after losing some quality players. Need a 3-4 defensive end, maybe that will open up Tuitt for a late first round pick. I can wish can't I?

The deal the Broncos gave Talib is insane. Some Pats fans will be mad because he is going to Denver, but they would have been crazy to pay what Denver did. They really better win it this year, because it won't be worth the years of salary cap jail if they don't. Even if they get three good years out of him, having more than 4M in dead money per year for the next three years is a terrible idea.

Denver is all in this year. Getting Talib isn't that bad when you consider that they lose Bailey's cap space.

They lead for Ware as well. That would be an amazing FA haul.

The Bears let Peppers go which I get.

Then brought in some mediocre defensive players.

I like Trestman and I am not knocking him and Emry has done some good things here. It is interesting that through age, in my opinion bad defensive coaching hires, and years of not building depth; we have manage to see a complete decimation of one the best defensive units in recent times.

Supposedly Chicago is also pursuing Jared Allen.

If they signed him I think that would pretty much be it for their cap space and the starting spots they would need to fill in the draft would only be DT, OLB, CB and SS.

That's not good. Jenkins has terrible ball skills, which is why he never developed. He's always in decent position, he's fine playing center field and he plays the run okay, but he's just a train wreck when he's trying to stick with someone or play a man in his zone. Really frustrating to watch him play.

Trestman has been horrible so far and the management has too. They'll find a way to fuck up in this years loaded draft somehow too... Watch

is it just me or has this been the most meh! free agent class ever. Seriously I dont think I would bother signing any of the guys who have signed so far save Talib if he guaranteed he wouldnt be a douche once he gets paid..

I like Minnesota signing Linval Joseph at DT to pair with Sharrif Floyd.

I really like that move for them (as an objective observer, as a Bears fan, I'm not happy with that, but I trust our guards.)

Lamarr Houston is worth his money. Young, very good against the run, and has some untapped pass rushing potential. The safety they picked up is there to replace Steltz, which is fine with me. Somebody to come in and provide acceptable safety play if Conte/draft pick start crapping all over the field. They weren't gonna get Byrd, unfortunately. The big thing is now they're very thin on the D Line as far as ends go.

Decker reportedly visiting the Jets. He a product of Manning or is he actually that good? Although in 2011 he managed to put up 600+ yards and 8 TDs with Tebow/Orton under center.

With Wayne coming off a leg injury, the Colts have shown interest in him as well. The Indystar raised the same question. Look at all the receivers that put up very good or great numbers with Manning then couldn't replicate with someone else. My guess is Decker's numbers are the product of PM.

No offense to Jets fans but tht offense could make any WR disappear. Decker is a good not great WR. He's not good enough to make the QB better, IMO but will be an upgrade should he land there.

Wonder if the Pats would make a run at Golden Tate if Edelman goes elsewhere. They're pretty much the exact same WR, except Golden is more athletic.

'Cism!

Tate to the Leo's sounds like a good deal for both parties to me.

Decker was good before Manning got there. He is a very good route runner with strong hands. He tore shit up in college at Minnesota as well.

I don't disagree, but I'm not sure he's a number 1 receiver (speed) which is what the Colts are looking for.

You're right, he's not. But he is a very consistent high end #2 that would be a great receiver for Luck. I think Luck is like Manning in a sense, where he doesn't necessarily need 4.3 burner WR's or a star like Megatron. He needs precise route runners with good after catch ability. Decker does that on a high level. He'd be a great fit there, imo.

He would be, but I don't think he's going to see anything close to last year's success. Everyone's talent opened up everybody else in Denver, imho. But Decker with TY Hilton would be good, although I think they've got about the same ceiling (not #1, but both good #2s). Signing Decker would not be a bad idea, but he can't be paid #1 money; it's just not a smart move. Then again, anything's really possible with Grigson...

After watching Luck for a couple of seasons, I can tell you Luck and Manning or so similar it's crazy. The Colts missed Wayne badly last year. TY Hilton has the burner speed and Luck seems to be able to find him sometimes, but without Wayne Hilton got double teamed a lot. Decker probably would be a good fit for the Colts, especially since Reggie's injury was a ligament. He's getting up in age and I'm not sure how well he'll bounce back.
