Another amazing thread that is full of absolutely intelligently informed posts, that clearly have all the answers. Not all of the posts, but about 40% of all the posts qualify. Which is really something considering the blistering social commentary and incredibly intelligent wit associated with and contained in these posts!
With that I (unbelievably) missed the answerers to a few questions :
Does NJ in fact recognize emancipation by petition or participation?
How does NJ look at an agreement between a parent and a child in the fact that it cannot be a legal contract, i.e., one party the juvenile cannot enter into a legal agreement?
When does emancipation officially occur in NJ? (I believe Ohio is 18th birthday or hs graduation, whichever is last.)
Are there other siblings?
Is this family Catholic and do they participate in their community?
Other than the young woman's allegations that her father was overly friendly, were there any other possible criminal investigations related to the family?
