He doesn't look Polynesian, might be biracial, but he identifies as Polynesian. Being able to be around other Polynesians has been a big factor in his recruitment. He and Luatua said that it meant a lot that ND has a guy like Justin Utupo in the program.

makes me think that ND/BK squandered a great recruiting opportunity when he had Manti, Kona, Toma and Utupo all on the roster and he couldnt use them to attract fellow Polynesians/hawaii natives

BK said before he isn't going to recruit someone in Hawaii UNLESS they show interest as it isn't worth the time/resources......it's not like we haven't targeted other poly players since they have been on the team, they just chose elsewhere

Sark actually said this during his NSD presser on their incoming freshmen. I was starting to think they'd be relatively weak at WR until I heard that.

Kid is absolutely balling for USC early on (starting at WR). 5 catches for over 100 yds and the 2nd quarter just started.

Gonna hate playing against this kid for the next 3-4 years!

Don't think he would have as big of an impact on a game and teams scheming for him as a WR. Just my opinion.

I will tell you this. He will make a ton more money playing WR in the NFL than safety.

That I can mostly agree with although a true ball-hawking safety is rare and often paid in platinum and rubies. He just seems to be *that* athletic that he could be a game changer from a number of positions. But there are more #1 WRs getting paid than top safeties.

Oh, that's Schuster. I keep hearing this Schuster fella when watching glimpses of USC games and I'm wondering who the hell he is.

Quite frankly, I'm not overly impressed yet with him this year, considering he just has to run in a straight line and he'll be wide open against Idaho or Arkansas State. Fuller on the other hand, has gone up against some solid defensive backs.
