Yup, was a smokescreen. Well played for a little bit of drama. Nice fake out towards Oregon.

Why or why couldn't you have just chosen Oregon...

Not watching, but did he reiterate how much religion played into his decision?

Said USC was his dream school from day 1. Hope we kick the crap out of the Trojans again.

Just thanked God

He didn't specify which god, though.

USC's coaching search went as poorly as could reasonably be expected, and they still finish with Mama, Adoree and Juju. Those charmed as$holes really have to try to fail.

USC is the douchey Malibu teenager with a trust fund of the college football world.

Sucks. But not unexpected.

Lame Kiffin, UGH. Couldn't he have hung on for another year?

We freaking HAD Juju, and then SC canned their terrible coach and hired Juju's uncle. Gah.

SC is Lane Kiffin in school form.

That's why Lane failed there ... it was too much lame douchiness in one place. The universe couldn't take the strain.

They were so perfect for each other. Perhaps too perfect?

I hate when kids sign with McDonalds. Just seems like the wrong career choice for them. Oh well, somebody has got to serve my burger.

I feel like USC did the college football world a disservice by not allowing Kiffy to at least finish the season. We could have at least enjoyed his last remaining games, but they prematurely ej...ected him.

USC cleaning up fellas

Nothing new there. Last year was clearly an outlier for them.

I'll start worrying when Sark proves he can develop elite talent. He consistently underperformed with very good talent at UW, so I expect he'll carry on the Trogans' long tradition of failing to meet expectations.

I don't worry about SC...don't we beat them every year? According to my D-Back short memory we do.

Kelly's 3-1 against the Spoiled Children. As an alum that attended ND from 2002 to 2009, I can't fully express how happy that makes me.

This is the key point here. What makes anyone think it won't be more of the same. I see two doors, Hayden*semi-integrity*and mediocre performance that pisses the fans off, or Sark*Carroll ethics and practices*winning more*and an invitation for more NCAA sanctions.

Either way, I don't see them being in the position the Irish are.

Gonna be a lot harder to stay even .500 against the Trojans if Sark ends up being even halfway more competent than Kiffy (Which is certain), and the fact they'll be bringing in great classes again for the near future.

OTOH, the Kiffin/Orgeron duo got them to 10 wins this past season. Sark had better meet that standard quickly.
