I actually don't agree with this. If there's even a miniscule chance we could promise too many guys a scholarship and have to screw someone over, I don't want to take that chance. I want to win, but I think it's more important to treat people the right way, and I wouldn't trade the latter for the former.

Loy is hearing that Alford will be down in FL to see IM today, and depending on how that conversation goes we should really know whether or not he will be in the class based on whether or not he visits.

If he does not visit ND, ND will move on, and Loy is reporting ND has already reached out to potential prospects that could take his spot.

He even heard that one prospect committed elsewhere is VERY interested in that spot and could flip immediately if IM falls through and the spot opens for him.

Loy alluded to several prospects whom the staff has contacted this week to gauge interest; there was just one in particular who Loy was told could flip immediately, but he wasn't the only one the staff had reached out to. So don't be surprised if other names pop up.

Updated. Removed McKenzie/Garnett, downgraded Cage. Sounds like not making up enough ground on OV so MSU has lead right now, which is kind of expected with how much more lame mid-week OVs are.

Yeah, we always knew we trailed for literally everyone left on the board. I still think we have a very solid chance at both Alexander and Quick, and Cage could always get pushed to us with some luck.

Personally, I'd rather have Cage and Alexander. They can both most certainly contribute to this team.
