Somehow I don't think Saban needs Feldman telling him the rules on recruiting for 2015 prospects. For all we know, Saban could have met Rosen walking down the street. I am sure if there is anything to it, the story will come out. But, as far as Bruce... his hate for all things Bama is well known. But it's ok. The feelings mutual.

Tommy,
Stop by. I have a bridge I think you'd like.

Blame ABC. Nick scouted out the area when he was doing tv commentary for the title game. Took him two days to find out what Rosen's favorite hangouts were. Who knew he was a fan of Taco Bell? You don't have the #1 class most years by waiting on them to come to you.

This is such a non-issue. Coaches are allowed to visit schools, and while there are allowed to "bump" into other potential prospects. No, by rule they cannot have a long protracted recruiting conversation, but this happens everywhere with every coach in every sport to some degree.

Yes its a non-issue. But Tommy trying to make it sound like they both accidentally got in the back of the same taxi was fantastic.

There are rumors of him to UCLA though.

There are but there are a couple rumors as him to Stanford.

He is a couple AP credits short of getting into Stanford.
Someone said his ego is to big for Shaw's blue collar football team.

All I know is IMO he's the best QB in the country.

So your telling me that every single player on Stanford's roster has taken multiple APs in HS? I find that pretty hard to believe.

And that they all scored on the tests, and that all the credits transferred for their degree.......yea no way

The AP requirement is false. There's no rqt for APs as many schools don't even offer AP classes.

He is not going to Stanford....yet. Those rumors are completely false. As of right now, Stanford doesn't want him. He supposed to commit to UCLA this weekend.

But as soon as Stanford offers, if they offer, people say he'll be gone in a NY minute...

Based on rankings, there are a lot of good West Coast QBs in the 15 class. It's quite impressive. Perhaps, Stanford like someone else better...

I actually doubt this will happen though. Stanford REALLY pissed him off by not offering, and by going after Town. And by still not offering. I think if he commits to UCLA and then Stanford continues to drag their feet through the summer he will over time have less and less of a chance of flipping to them. If they offer very soon after a UCLA commit, then I think they'll be in the race.

Sort of like a Sam Hubbard situation... he wanted ND, starts getting offers, still wants, keeps getting offers, still wants ND, Ohio State offers, still wants ND but is more than happy with Ohio State as option, visits Ohio State multiple times, commits after ND doesn't offer, and then by the time ND offers late he's made his peace with Ohio State.

I agree and what the F**k was the staff thinking about not offering him early on? Seriously, the kid is a special athlete as was already coming to ND and with his size and athleticism should have been a no brainer. He's the epitome of get him on campus and find a sport for him later.

This blunder alone should at some level question the staffs competency. They see potential talent in Bonner and Williams yet they can't see a clearly better athlete and talent in Hubbard.

Sorry about the rant but that one actually pisses me off that he got away when he was there to be had.

All fair points. But I'm saying that right now, he is still telling people at his school that he wants that Stanford offer. Now, whether he jumps on it if it were to ever come is anyone's guess, but people at SJB think he would.

Strong and Rosen would be a scary combination. And fuck Michigan.
